UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS TWO REVIEWS
Pros: rasonable coverage, works Cons: not sure it is really better than the regular 3d
After months the receiver now seems to work as designed. I believe the issue was the Navteq coverage or the system from where they were getting their alerts from. They seem to be more frequent and accurate than before. It is not great and I do not think this Digital 3d receiver is work the cost over the 3D that comes with the unit (my 2595LMT). I have both receivers hooked up in my car and can switch the input. I have not run two GPS units side by side but I just find much difference when I switch back and forth. One thing I do not know is if the Digital provides broader coverage, for example secondary roads. So, buy again? I guess so because I can’t say it doesn’t give perform better than the standard 3D and based on the Garmin ads it must. At $70 if it saves me minutes here and there over the 3D well, that probably is worth it. At least I can now give it a positive rating. By the way the 2595LMT is really a great GPS. Quite a step up over my 2460LT.

WORKS WELL IN SWEDEN AND DENMARK
Pros: have worked great for me Cons: none so far !
I have used it now for a couple of weeks in Sweden were I live and in Denmark around Copenhagen, and so far it works well. I have had a strong signal all the time everywhere I have been. I am using it with my Nuvi 2475LT. The Swedish custom was nice enough to bill me another 20 dollar for customs for it, but so far it has been worth it. I will be using it in the USA the coming summer and hope it works well over there to.

UPDATE TO MY NOV. 24 REVIEW SEATTLE AREA
Pros: showing signs of getting better Cons: still not ready for primetime
It has been almost a month of constant use. I know I get reception and the GPS unit works very well. What doesn’t seem to be very good is the traffic alerts. I was stopped on the freeway, surfed to the Navteq website and the traffic map. Great map, impressive and on top of the traffic. What doesn’t happen is the info on the map does not transfer to the GPS. Stopped on the freeway, map on web shows a problem but the GPS is happy as a lark. Three times sitting in traffic, web map confirms there is heavy traffic, GPS is clueless.
I have gotten two traffic alerts and two days ago it started giving me construction alerts. Things are slowly getting better. I am hoping Navteq is working on the service.

GTM60 DOES NOT APPEAR TO WORK WITH 2595LMT IN SEAT
Pros: in theory it is a good idea Cons: in practice they don't work
Bought two 2595LMT and two GTM60 and neither seems to be getting traffic in the Seattle area. Put them in our two vehicles.
Darn. Wasted money.
The stock traffic receiver works. Come on Garmin please fix this.

POOR RECEPTION
Pros: none Cons: no reception
Very poor reception in the Nashville area, if any at all. I would consider this an alpha product. As of now it's not worth $1.

UNRELIABLE RECEPTION
Pros: awesome when receiving a signal Cons: doesn't work 95% of the time
I live in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. I bought the Garmin 2595 LMT for the 5" screen and got the GTM 60 for the "better" traffic. So far over a couple days, I've only had 2 signal bars of service for about 3 minutes. The rest of the time the traffic is either "Searching for signal, receiver disconnected, or weak signal for 10 minutes (or longer)".
I tried the GTM 60 on another brand new Garmin 2595 LMT and had the same problem. After about 2 hours over the course of several calls with Garmin, they had me recheck the software, reset the FM Traffic Channels and finally clear the entire unit with no successful result. They then said I need to send the GTM 60 in for repair and that they are out of replacement units. I asked if anyone else was having this same problem and they answered that they haven't had this sort of problem.
I later checked a GPS forum and an Amazon review and saw that many others are having the same problems. This didn't exactly make me feel good about my conversations with Garmin as this seemed dishonest to me.
The GTM60 has the potential to be a great product. However, I'd advise waiting until they work these bugs out first. I've got another GTM 60 on the way from gpscity and am hopeful that I had a bad GTM60 and that the service will actually work with the new GTM60.
