GTU 10 is a GPS locator that combines a web-based tracking service with GPS technology so you can keep watch on children, pets and property. With exceptional coverage in Canada, it's the best Garmin tracker available. If you're looking for a GPS pet tracker, a car tracker, or need several GPS trackers to keep track of your small fleet, the GTU10 is for you.
How It Works
The GTU 10 is small, lightweight and waterproof. It easily attaches to a backpack, pet collar or whatever is important to you.
When you purchase a new GTU 10, it comes with 1 year of Standard Tracking (coverage dependent on GSM wireless service within the U.S.), so you’ll be ready to go once you register and activate it in your Garmin account.
Then, you can view the location of your GTU 10 on a map from the friendly confines of your computer. For an added level of convenience, you can download the free Garmin Tracker app for your mobile device to compare your current location to the direction and location of your GTU 10. For the ability to automatically route to your GTU 10, you can use a Garmin nüLink!™ device.
Using your computer or mobile device, you can also:
Create up to 10 geofences (virtual boundaries) for your device. When your GTU 10 enters or exits a geofence, we can send you an email or text message notification.
View track history of where your GTU 10 has been.
Customize device settings for optimal performance, including low battery/powered off notifications to let you know when it’s time to recharge or when the device has been turned off.
Standard Tracking Service Plan (49.99USD/year)
With Standard Tracking* and your GTU™ 10, you’ll be able to locate your GTU 10 whenever you need to, using your computer or mobile device. With just 1 click, we’ll show you the location of your device on an easy-to-read map.
You’ll also be able to access the last 10 points of daily track history. With Standard Tracking, your track history is recorded anytime you request location, a geofence boundary is crossed (if geofences are being applied) or low battery/powered off is detected.
Standard Tracking is an annual service plan, with the option to automatically renew when it expires to ensure uninterrupted service.
Deluxe Tracking Option (4.99USD/month)
When you add the Deluxe Tracking service plan to your Standard Tracking service plan, you’ll be able to locate your GTU™ 10 and get a more detailed picture of where your device has been.
With Deluxe Tracking, you can access 7 days of track history. You can also control the level of track history detail by specifying the intervals you would like to record track points.
Deluxe Tracking works in conjunction with Standard Tracking, so you'll get the same great features as always. You can still locate your GTU 10 whenever you need to, using your computer or mobile device. And in addition to the track points being recorded at your specified intervals, your track history would also be recorded anytime you request location, a geofence boundary is crossed (if geofences are being applied), or low battery/powered off is detected.
Deluxe Tracking is a monthly service plan that you add to the Standard Tracking annual service plan; it enables extra features for the desired GTU. At least 30 days of Standard Tracking must remain on your account in order to add the Deluxe Tracking. Similar to Standard Tracking which lasts 1 year, Deluxe Tracking has the option to automatically renew when it expires to ensure uninterrupted service.
*Each compatible, registered device must have its own service plan. The device must be registered in your Garmin account to activate the service plan. Please purchase additional quantities for additional devices.
