WORKS WELL
Pros: the hockey puck shape is small and compact. Cons: none so far.
I am using this antenna with a Garmin Zumo 550 and the directions in the box did not match exactly with what I was seeing on the Zumo screen but I was able to muddle through it and was succussful in the set up. This is my first experience with XM Radio and am primarily using it on my touring motorcycle. The sound is not concert hall quality but through the dash or helmet speakers it's just fine. It is,after all,a motorcycle.

ANTENNA FOR CAR AND MOTORCYCLE
Pros: easy connection, quality audio Cons: more sensitive than zumo to clear satellite view
Bought the GXM30 to attach to my Zumo 550 on a cross country motorcycle trip to break the boredom accross the central plains. Connection was easy and XM login went smooth. Very little info supplied about mounting location requirements for good signal. Unit is sensitive to obstructions like the car roofline. No info about unit being rainproof like the Zumo. Clear reception and sound when there is a clear signal.

FUNCTIONS AS ADVERTISED
Works very well. I also bought the ram mount but did not use. Ended up just using double sided high strength tape and bonded to the non painted surface of the fairing on my HD Ultra. I coupled this antenae with a Garmin Zumo 550. Works great but the GXM 30 XM takes up to 30 seconds to start feeding signal after start up and only works when GPS is plugged in (hard wired in my case). Does not work when GPS is running of of battery. I am using this for traffic, weather and XM.

EASY MOUNTING ANTENNA
Pros: small, easy to mount and easy to connect. Cons: can only get us weather stations.
The unit was shipped very quickly and was easy to connect to the Garmin Zumo 550 GPS on our motorcycle. Attaches to the tank via the margnetic base which unfortunately did cause a few slight scratches. I am installing a piece of rubber-fabric between the antenna and tank which I hope will resolve this issue. It works great 99% of the time but occasionnaly the signal dies off completely for a few seconds and sometimes longer. GPSCity call centre referred me to Garmin but I am having difficulty getting through to their call centre. Otherwise this is a great product that I would recommend.

GREAT ANTENNA FOR MOTORCYCLE
Pros: easy to connect and solid reception Cons: none
Great antenna with constant reception for outside use, in this case my motorcycle. I would use a less expensive antenna if you don't need a waterproof antenna.

ANTENNA SEEMS OK, BUT SERVICE??
Pros: got it quick Cons: taking there own sweet time crediting a return.
3 installation firms told me this was the antenna I needed for my Kenwood Dnx 5120. It turns out it was not the right unit. I returned the unit via FedEX and it was received April 8. As of today, April 20, and 3 calls to Gps City, they can't find the time to credit my Credit Card. Initial service, via the internet was fine, but their Return department needs a lot of work.

NOT VERSITILE
Works great as intended....BUT can not be used with laptop computer or any other device so that the XM subscription is not being wasted when not driving. Big hassle to bring the Zumo into the house just to listen to XM
