GXM 31 XM smart antenna delivers XM Satellite Radio and XM WX Satellite Weather services to your compatible Garmin chartplotter.
Roughly 3 inches in diameter, the GXM 31 processes all XM information and sends the finished data to your unit for display.
You can mount the GXM 31 with either the included flush or pole mounts, and itcomes with a 30ft long cable with a positive lock waterproof mini-USB connector.
The GXM 31 requires a XM Satellite subscription(s). Traffic services are available only in select cities where XM Nav Traffic coverage exists.
The GXM 31 Smart antenna is included as a standard accessory with the purchase of a Garmin GPSMAP 430x, 430sx, 440x and 440sx (XMWX Satellite Weather only. The x versions do not support audio.). The GXM 31 is also compatible witht he GPSMAP 530, 530s, 540, 540s, 535, 535s and 545s. (Please Note: The GPSMAP 430, 430s, 440 and 440s are not compatible with the GXM 31 Antenna.)
