NOT VERY SECURE
Pros: good idea
Cons: piss poor execution/quality
It doesn't hold my Etrex 30 very securely, and leaves it to bounce around, to be honest I was expecting something a little more, but I have two main concerns, firstly, if I start running it is going to come free of the Velcro and as it swings wildly hinder me, and secondly, Velcro doesn't last forever and it is only a matter of time (in my experience probably less then a year) before this item simply becomes garbage.
save your self the money and fashion something your self, this product has been reduced to spare parts for me.

GOOD IDEA, BAD RESULT
Pros: strap, adjustablity on the lanard
Cons: clip connects to gps less than adequet
I use my GPS on a daily basis and this seemed like something I could use to replace the carabiner version. The velcro/nylon strap works great which is why I gave this product a 2-star. The clip itself does not secure properly to my Dakota 20. It can easily be tugged apart. If I walk through thick vegetation, it is more likely than not that I will hit a clearing WITHOUT my GPS connected. GARMIN, FIX THAT CLIP!!!
