GOOD MOUNT, WORKS ON MOUNTAIN BIKE BARS
Pros: solid, easy to mount
Cons: none
This mount is actually big enough to fit the bars of a mountain bike, unlike the other regular one. Good unit, held solidly in place the whole time.

WORKS LIKE IT'S SUPPOSE TO
Pros: easy to install & it works
Not a complicated piece of hardware & it seems to wrk fine. I've put 50 or 60 klms on my mountain bike since installing this mount & so far so good. Easy to install, holds the device firmly & no complaints.

WORK WELL
Exactly what I needed and works well.
Preventing a '5'? The GPS can rattle a little and as a design improvement I would put something compressible inside the clip to reduce the vibration. A simple and effective solution is a small piece of hockey tape on the adapter under the GPS.

GARMIN LARGE BIKE MOUNT ADAPTER
Pros: ok for handlebars.
Cons: it hurts that it does not have one for stems!
As all the products Garmin it is of a high quality. This adapter to the handlebar I have transformed it to use an Etrex Vista placed in the stem of the MTB, since Garmin does not have one specific for it. It would not be of any more that Garmin will make an anchoring to install the gps, s in stems!

BIKE MOUNT
I bought one of these a few years ago for the ATV, and it is awsome! I just bought a motorcycle and figured it would be handy to bring along the GPS, so I ordered an new one. It is the same as my first one and it works great, I just find the new one a little harder to get the GPS in and out of, other than that, it does its job incredibly!

SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE SMALLER ONE, BUT OK...
The small one would have fitted perfectly on my mountain bike's bar but I ended up getting the big one. My bar is an inch in diameter, and the larger mount adapter JUST fits with the extra cushion that came with it (I did add an extra 1cm of cushion to get the adapter snug well). Aside from the adapter, my eTrex clips well, but it does rattle a little when I go through rough trails, but it's not annoying.

GREAT MOUNT FOR LARGE DIAMETER HANDLEBARS
Pros: easy to mount. holds firm. easy to adjust.
Cons: none.
Bought the 'Garmin Large Bike Mount Adapter (010-10496-00)' to mount on my mountain bike which has handlebar diameter of 1.25" (31mm). Mount comes with two thin (0.06"/2mm) and one thick (0.25"/7mm) rubber spacers, to go between the mount and handlebar to keep it in place without moving or rotating. I used the two thin (0.06"/2mm) rubber spacers and it works great! Am using my 'Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx' in lieu of a bicycle computer, for distance traveled, speed, etc. Interchangeable snap-in mounts allow me to transfer GPS from bike to car easily.

INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE TO ENTIRE BIKE MOUNT KIT
Bought his as an alternative to buying an entire bike mount kit that contains a new back cover that doesn't fit HCx units anyway. Use this mount adapter with the clip that comes with your HCx unit and you're all set. I have noticed that it does allow some slight play between the mount and the clip however as compared to the full mount kit that I also have. I suspect that there is a difference in molding tolerances between the regualr sized bike mount and the large bike mount.
