Manufacturer Description |
This cigarette lighter adapter cable has a built-in voltage regulator in order to provide the correct input voltage for the Garmin GPS 12. The GPS 12 does not have an internal voltage regulator, hence the need for a step-down regulator to drop the vehicle voltage of 12VDC to 8VDC.
This cable is also for the discontinued GPS 38 and GPS 40 models.
