The NEW MapSource MetroGuide Canada v4 CD-ROM was developed using high quality DMTI Spatial data, and is designed to provide users with detailed, routable coverage throughout all Canadian provinces. This CD is designed for use with Garmin Auto Rouing GPS products such as the StreetPilot III , StreetPilot 2610/2650, iQue 3600, GPS V, GPSMAP 196 and future routable products from Garmin. This new map data will allow you to look up addresses and points of interest throughout Canada and route directly to them. MetroGuide Canada includes provincial highways, controlled access highways, local roads and residential roads throughout Canada - not limited to major metropolitan areas.
This product is not locked, which will allow users the ability to download the detailed maps to compatible GPS units such as the eTrex Legend, eTrex Vista, Rino 120, GPSMAP 76/76S, GPSMAP 176/176C, etc. The user has the ability to pre-plan their daily adventures from the comfort of their own home, using MapSource on a PC. Then they can download waypoints, routes and tracks to their Garmin GPS.
Please note: The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS100 family and panel mount aviation units.
 MAP COVERAGE:View the coverage of this DVD before you buy with the Garmin Map Viewer. The Map Viewer allows you to zoom in on the map so you can review the DVD coverage area before you purchase the DVD-ROM.
