We clearly mark these authentic Garmin cards with the appropriate label and region for your convenience. These are not available for individual purchase when unprogrammed. Use our convenient search tool to locate mapping for the region you require and for accurate stock availability.
For your safety and to avoid potentially voiding your unit's warranty, be sure to purchase Bluechart mapping only from Garmin Authorized Bluechart Outlets.
BlueChart cartography is GARMIN's exclusive marine cartography. It complements GARMIN's new line of handheld mapping products and marine Chartplotters. This line of cartography products is designed to provide interactive viewing of detailed nautical chart data, thereby providing navigators with innovative object-oriented cartography.
These detailed electronic nautical charts look just like paper charts when displayed on your GARMIN Chartplotter. Features include shading between depth contours, spot soundings, navaids, port plans, wrecks, obstructions, inter-tidal zones, and more. BlueChart offers much larger coverage areas for half the price, meaning a great value for mariners.
Garmin developed BlueChart map data in early 2001, and currently offers the cartography on micro-cards for its new line of fixed-mount Chartplotters. The offshore coverage data is also available in three CD selections - for regions in the Americas, Pacific and Atlantic. The Americas CD includes the East and West coasts of the U.S., the Great Lakes, Gulf of Mexico, Alaska and Hawaii. BlueChart coverage for the Pacific includes Australia and New Zealand. The Atlantic CD includes the coastlines of Western Europe, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Aegean Sea, Black Sea and Baltic Sea.
