CANADIAN NAVIGATION
Pros: excellent product Cons: none
Product has added a dimension to a formally US only GPS. Navigation info for Canada is completely up to date including voice directions.

NOT PLEASED WITH PRODUCT
i found no difference in paying for this upgrade than what i had !!!!! . . . . and further more a new more current product came on the market shortly after i purchased this upgrade. . . i feel mislead . . . the advertisement i was responding to led me to believe ther would be a lot more features included in the upgrade i bought. . when i called to ask about it i was told that the features i was expecting could certainly be obtained but i would have to buy another memory chip. . i'm very disappointed in garmin! my wife and i are seriously looking at getting another brand of gps for our vehicles and at this point i won't recommend garmin to anyone.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
Cons: not very up to date.
I would of thought that this card would of been more up to date. I bought it in March 2010. Not much information for the area that I live. Towns near me have more information.

SD MAP FOR COLORADO 300 & NUVI 260W
Pros: works in both colorado 300 & nuvi 260w Cons: slightly out of date
Purchased this SD based map in early December (2009) and I would have thought the version would have been more uptodate. Garmin updates/publishes maps every quarter - so although I wasn't expecting 2010.30 I was hoping for at least 2010.20, instead this map was 2010.10
On the plus side the map does have many updates that my previous Nuvi map needed and of course it has added routable road navigation to my Colorado 300.

DOWNLOADING
The product is very good and met my expectations. However, there were no instruction on how to download to the GPS, ans as a result I just leave the card in the unit. Going to the Garmin website was not helpful either.

MICROSD CITY NAVIGATOR CANADA NT CARD WITH ADAPTER
Pros: definitely helps with majority of travel needs Cons: needs an update for restaurants and amenities
This is a handy addition to the Garmin GPS system if you don't have the Canadian product. We bought our Garmin in the US when on holiday, but live in Canada so purchased this map for Canadian travel. Unfortunately, it could use an update some of the maps are slightly out of wack and newer restaurants and amenities are not able to be found, but for the most part it works great and I wouldn't be without it.

DOUBLED THE USEFULNESS OF MY GPS
Pros: nuch prefer routing vs dad's magellan Cons: few streets misspelled. newest roads missing
I have a Venture CX bought for hiking and Geocaching. I could not afford 2 GPS units so I bought the City Navigator Canada NT Card and a Cell phone holder and Shazam! 2 in 1 the Venture CX screen is a bit small but functional for a auto-nav system.

NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO LOAD
Product works very well once you know how to load. No instructions and no indication that small SD (to be inserted in GPS) is hidden inside large SD which is irrlevant. Garmin technical support was very good but a set on instructions would have been better.

GOOD MAPS AND COPMATIBLE WITH MOST GARMIN GPS SETS
Pros: very easy to use
Easy to use. Slide the card into your GPS navigator, and you are ready to go anywhere! Infact you do not need to worry about memory space on your GPS unit, the card does not need any of your GPS unit memory space!

CANADA STREET NAMES
I have noticed that a lot of streets are spelled wrong in the GPS so locating the correct street is not possible. They also have lead us to roads that turn into nonpassable dirt roads and we have had to turn around and go back for another route. Also, there are areas that you loose satellite connection.

POOR STREET MAPPING OF CANADA
Cons: poor data set (out of date0
I am very disapointed on the quality of the data. Roads are on it without name, it tells you to get on hiway where there are no enty/exit. It tells you that you are travelling on a gravel road ot paved road with out name.

NOT REQUIRED
This map has the same content for Canada that came with the Garmin unit. I was hoping for a map that provided small town streets in Canada. Other GPS units do. No luck, a $60.00 experiment. Not maps fault.

IMPRESSIVE
Cons: crd must be in to operate thus stopping other use.
The card plugged in and operated as advertised. I was impressed with my first navigation. This was my first ever use of a GPS unit. I discovered more street names over an area I had driven before. I had originally contacted Garmin and was redirected to GPSCity to save money(ie duty).

EASY TO USE
Pros: easy to use Cons: 14 months out of date at time of purchase
I purchased this microSD card at the end of December 2008 and it was 14 months out of date. A major roadway, Anthony Henday South East does not appear. Considering this was a project underway 3 years ago, I'd expect the road to be represented. I am happy with how easy it is to use and would recommend it providing of course it is more up-to-date. On another note, my GPS was purchased in the US and Garmin USA was great at recommending a Canadian Supplier for this item. I had my order in 48 hours from GPS City, whom I'd recommend to anyone.

SD CARD CITY NAVIGATOR CANADA NT
I purchased a Garmin 200 GPS from at a US truck stop but it only had US maps and I needed to upgrade it to include Canada. After waiting 7 weeks for an order I placed with a local electronics supplier, I canclled my order and contacted gpscity. I had my new data card in 3 days, installed it and it works great giving detailed canadian road maps.

CAVEAT EMPTOR
I was told by a sales rep here that the maps on this microSD could be used in Mapsource. They can't - I found that out only after I opened it. This only works in the GPS itself, and the maps can't be transferred to a PC, so they proved useless for my needs. I had to buy the flawed and inaccurate City Navigator North America DVD. Not very happy with that at all.
[Ed. note: The microSD cards are preprogrammed cards from Garmin that are locked. You cannot use the software with a computer by taking it off or add anything to the software. ]

The item was sent out to Edmonton the same day. I received the item in less than 20 hours by courier. This item is perfect and works perfect. "Great Item - Greater Ist Class Service".
