LIMITED AND NEED TO CONFIRM WITH GOOGLE MAPS
Pros: better then not having gps maps Cons: need to cross-reference with maps google or papers
This product is not nearly as detailed as Google Maps so you should cross check any trips ahead of time to avoid issues. For example Puerto Morelos does not appear even though it is a sizable town south o f Cancun. In Mexico you have to be carefull because there are often towns/ villages with the same or very similar names, for example Temozon, Temozon Sur and Temozon Nord. It was good for navigating in and out of Merida. Maybe Garmin needs to strike a deal with Google for map updates!!

MEXICO MAPS
Pros: garmin product and compatible. Cons: there is another map company that i heard is best.
I went to Baja California Sur and spent time in La Paz and Cabo San Lucas. I drove many of the streets in La Paz and drove from La Paz to Cabo and back. I noticed that some of the one way streets were not correct on the map software so be careful with that. The Mexican government is putting in a new 4 lane highway all the way between the two cities so the maps will have to be updated soon. Overall I liked the maps but the addresses are a little difficult to search for with how the street names are very long and usually abbreviated. There are not street signs at every corner like in the states, sometimes only every 10 blocks or so.

GARMIN MICRO SD CITY NAVIGATOR
...the female voice used for directions has obviously not had any preparation concerning the pronunciations of the Spanish to describe the street names..a negative
most destinations entered by address seem to work....except our own home address...which repeatedly takes us to a location about 1 mile away ! ! !

NOT WORTH THE PRICE, VERY LACKING IN INFORMATION!
Cons: poor detail
Just returned from Playa del Carmen. I used the product for a road trip from Playa del Carmen to Tulum, then on to Coba and Chichen Itza. It did not have Tulum ruins, the town of Coba (or the ruins) and at that point I turned it off as it wasn't of any use!I would not recommend this product!

GARMIN GPS CITY NAVIGATOR MEXICO
Lacks the detail of the North America GPS. For example, Costco in Puerto Vallarta is 2 years old but is not on the map.

EXLCELENT, BUT TAKE THE TOLL ROAD ALWAYS
Pros: more cities than those mentioned are included Cons: does not calculate a faster time for toll roads
Very good product with very few mistakes. Be careful, it gives the same speed for a toll road than for a free road. DO NOT FOLLOW THE GPS' ADVISE AND TAKE THE TOLL ROAD. If you can afford a GPS you can afford the toll. The Morelia to Lazaro Cardenas toll road is missing, hopefuly it will be included in the 2010 product.
