The rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery has more than a lengthy name it delivers a long battery life and doesn't acquire a memory, unlike NiCad batteries. Here's its stats: 160 minutes talk time; 12-14 hours standby (GPS on); 26 hours standby (cellular only).
