NON SKID RUBBER MOUNT WORKS
Pros: avoids marking dash
Cons: vista is a little heavy for it.
The base stays where you put it, but will move in a very hard stop or turn. A good choice to avoid using a permanent mount. It is not quite heavy enough to counter balance my eTrex Vista Hcx, but it works well when the bottom of the GPS rests on the dash. I do wish you could buy the Auto Mount arm with this base, but you need to get both and switch to this base.
