Visit www.garmin.com/activatenumaps and then follow these instructions to update your maps
Make sure you always have the latest mapping with the nuMaps Lifetime Update Card! Using the Product Key on your lifetime card, you can log in and download up to four updates per year for the life of your compatible GPS unit. You will have access to multiple map updates each year for the life of your Garmin GPS. Each map update includes new information about streets, highways, addresses and points of interest. Map data is provided by NAVTEQ - the world leader in premium-quality mapping.
The nuMaps Lifetime card will work for all of the Nuvi and Zumo models and all NT compatible Garmin units, which includes every Nuvi GPS from Garmin. If you don't see your unit on this list, feel free to call and ask!
Please note this is not a software CD or DVD. This is the product key that allows use of data downloaded directly from Garmin's website.
This product is for NT compatible units only, and not for updating pre-loaded non-NT units.
