EXCELLENT GPS
Pros: large screen is easy to read most of the time. Cons: hard to read display in certain light conditions.
I've been using this unit for about one month and am pleased with the performance. I expect to purchase another one for my wife in the near future. This GPS generates route calculations very fast and recalculates very fast if I take a different route. Free Map Uupdates 4 times a year is a big plus as is the free Traffic Updates. For the price, it is hard to go wrong with this unit.

NEEDS SOFTWARE UPDATE TO PREVENT FREEZE UP
Pros: easy to use, big screen Cons: needs software update immediately!
My Garmin 1350 froze 3 days into a 14 day trip. Although the company replaced it (by mail, after my return), I also got an email that I needed to immediately update the software on line because they are prone to freezing up. Not much consolation when I was looking forward to the altitude feature as I drove through the Rockies! I can only hope the fix is permanent.

BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH
Pros: none Cons: everything.
Had the unit 4 months. Always had trouble with touch screen not working correctly. Garmin said I need to calibrate the screen. I did that. Still did not response with ease to my touch. And often would enter something next to item that highlighted. Then in June the unit went dead while using it. Garmin said I needed new software. I did that. Still unit goes dead immediately after "GARMIN" display on screen. NOW I WANT MY MONEY BACK. GARMIN WILL NOT DO IT. THEY ARE VERY UNFRIENDLY IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK.

1350T
Pros: thin, large clear display, good audio Cons: none
The 1350T is an upgrade from the c340 for me. I had wanted to get the GPS off the windshield and mounted at dash level. The 1350T is thin and has a large, very clear display. The 1350T with lifetime updates seemed to be the most value for the money and being able to update the maps online is a huge plus. The unit did fail after only a week but GPS City exchanged it for me and the second unit has been working fine. The 1350T has lots of features that my old c340 didn't, such as altitude and being able to enter GPS coordinates. Not that I need that often, but it's nice to have when I do need it. I really didn't have a need for bluetooth so the 1350T works perfectly for me. The original mount is good, but I opted for the RAM mount since it gives me more options for mounting and is very heavy duty.

GARMIN QUALITY THROUGH AND THROUGH
Pros: easy navigation, map upgrades, excellent options Cons: none
I had previously purchased my first Garmin GPS 2 years ago and it saved my marriage and kids lives. Garmin made directions easy to follow and updates to maps painless. The reason we purchased again was our son moved to a large city and he needed ours to navigate. He uses it daily and has had no problems with its operation. The newer model 1350T is lighter, more sleek and the options are fantastic. We have the package with LifeTime maps whic saves a person the annual $70 yearly fee. Lane Assist is remarkable if supported in your city. Traffic alerts well once you use that you will never leave home with out this unit again. The few times we used it saved us from the stress of dealing with the Now Which Lane! The cityexplore option amazed us with info on city transit, where to get on or off and times. The one option we stumbled on was when we were travelling, we decided to stop for the night. We selected hotels, motels and it informed us of offers, specials and deals that were available. It saved us 50% on our room that night. The unit will inform you on deals and specials for sites, resturants etc. Before you complain about that think of the possible savings.
There are other options which I haven't tried - ECO drive but probaly is fine. My wife uses the POI - points of Interest and it has found areas where we would have never seen or found ourselves. The unit allows for the download of custom poi's as well. Using the unit has proven to be easy and enjoyable. We recommend it as Garmin has always brought us home or taken us to where we need to go with no hassles or issues. Garmin is highly recommended by many travellers and they deserve the recognition.

GREAT BUNDLE
Pros: easy to use, fast, great price for the bundle Cons: no case for the gps
This GPS has all the features I wanted. I already have blutooth in my car, so I didn’t need it in the GPS. I bought this to replace my Nuvi 350. I found no problems with the volume in this unit and it is louder than my 350. It took about 5 minutes to update and register the GPS (comes with a USB cable) and the NuMaps was very easy to activate. I only used it a couple of times but the anti-glare screen seems to work well and the satellite acquisition and re-routing is definitely faster than the 350.
I have not tried the traffic feature yet.
With the bundle at this price, the NuMaps lifetime update is a bargin!
