GARMIN 275T, THE BEST BUY
Pros: very easy to navigate, good price Cons: we are not sure if we can download a map from asia
It was a christmas gift for my husband who travels a lot in Europe, North America and Asia. He loves it. It is small enough to keep it in the pocket and big enough to have a nice visual of the screen.

NUVI 275T GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY
I was going to upgrade my SD Europe card until I received a promotional email about this unit. I purchased it primarily for an up coming European, tested it out over the last few weeks and am duly impressed. Compact with great visuals good voice command which are great in place like the UK where you driving on the wrong side and shift with the wrong hand. Having both NOrth America and Europe for this price feels grand theft. I'll give this one to my daughter after my trip. If you want a neat compact GPS packed with features (including Bluetooth) at a steal of a price this it

BEST AUTOMOTIVE GPS
Cons: does not have all the streets.
Excellent device, not only telling you to turn right or left but also mentioning the name of the street, so no confusion can be made. Getting the Satellites is a bit faster than the previous version. Suction cup for the windshield is smaller and shorter for easier handling and storage.

GPS FOR AUTO
We are planning a trip to Europe next spring and decided to buy and work with this model before leaving. It is very easy to pick up and use immediately. We were concerned about the screen size being too small but found it to be very easy to read and understand. No experience yet using European maps.

GARMIN NUVI 275T EUROPE
Pros: low price, speed limits/cameras, bluetooth Cons: small screen
Budget unit to buy for NA + Europe maps. Would have prefered the 775T which includes MP3s + FM transmitter to the car radio, and a larger display. See other reviews which are all accurate. By the way, you need to pay 20 $/year for the speed camera updates

GPS COVERING NORTH AMERICA AND EUROPE
Pros: na+europe, traffic info, speed limit, speed cam Cons: lost satelite signal with thick cloud
The reason I looked for a GPS was I need to go to UK. This GPS is just right for me with the Europe map and traffic information update at the price of a normal North America only GPS. The traffic information helped me a lot in showing me the speed limit on different grade of roads and warning me the speed camera ahead in UK. BTW, when you parked your car and go on foot, you can save your location and select travel as "pedestrian". It will still track your position. I tracked the flying route on air too. But check the air line to make sure they allow you to use GPS during the flight after taking off. However, when there is thick cloud, it might lost the satelite signal.

A GOD SEND
Bought this model as I was going on a driving trip through France. I, and my two passengers were amazed with the detail of streets in the unit. In particular, it even had country roads that were only one lane wide pre- programmed.
It performed well also in the city, taking us right to the doorstep of our hotel. It did drop track a couple of times when navigating on foot down some very streets with tall buildings on either side, but this would probably happen to all GPS units.

VERY GOOD MULTI PURPOSE UNIT
Pros: european maps included, speaks street names
I bought the Nuvi 275T specifically for my trip to western europe and I can't imagine how we could have managed without it. The maps were complete everywhere we traveled (France, Belgium, Switzerland) and the unit was very easy to use. In pedestrian mode, it occasionally interpreted our location incorrectly (I assume because we were on the sidewalk rather than in the centre of the road). This caused it to go into perpetual "recalculating" loops that were a bit frustrating. In vehicle mode it was flawless.

NUVI 275T - WORKS WELL IN EUROPE.
Pros: works just as well in europe as in north america.
I purchased the Nuvi 275T to use during my vacation in the south of France. I had no problems navigating with it. I was able to get to all the places I needed to go such as cities, samll towns, and restaurants. Speed Limit postings, camera and radar zone warnings worked there. These features don't show up in the Toronto area.

VALUABLE ASSET FOR TRAVEL IN EUROPE
We spent a month driving through Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia in the spring of 2009. The Nuvi 275T proved to be invaluable for navigating through large cities and small towns. It was nice not to have to drive in circles when trying to find hotels and points of interest. The GPS did have some trouble in Croatia, not fully up to date with new highway construction. It did not have a map for the island of Hvar.

EUROPEAN GPS SYSTEM
Cons: map were not updated for at least 3 years in portu
Overall the sytem worked reasonably well, however the maps were not recently updated despite the fact the this is 2009 unit. We used the system in Portugal and Spain and it appeared that the maps had not been updated in at least 3 years.

AUTO GPS - NA COVERAGE COMPLETE AND EUROPE PARTIA
Pros: easy and intuitive operation Cons: limited coverage in eastern europe
The machine works well, operation is easy and intuitive. In eastern Europe, take paper road maps as well as the Garmin. It handles principal highways OK in the Czech Republic and the centres of principal cities. Away from the centre of a principal (Brno) was missing. I think Garmin should more clearly flage that the European coverage is partial and tell what is there and what is not.
