BUGS.. BUGS..BUGS

Pros: see description
Cons: see description

I bought this device in july 2010, since then 3 times it was replaced - all 3 device have the same problem - screen starts to flash and map turns white completely or partially. Unit still gives audio direction but screen is just empty. Response is also very, very slow.. eventually it may reboot itself or just freeze. As I said I have same story with the 3rd devices and garmin support says that the only solution is exchange it again... BS!!! it is systematic problem with software or hardware. I even recorded on my cell

I did some research and looks like other people have the same problem

Hopefully Garmin accept that there is bug in software or I am screwed... 450$ lost...

NOT SO GREAT

Pros: nice when it works
Cons: too many problems

After receiving I updated both the firmware and maps. I loaded in some topo maps for Vermont and Maine. Now when I drive near either of these borders the unit just constantly reboots. It will also randomly reboot or have a line through the screen. Today while sitting in traffic the map suddenly zoomed in to some random location on a street I had never heard of then completely locked up. Tech support has been of no help at all dismissing the problems.

SOME FLAWS

read a previous review, stating the units software was a little glichy. I agree, there are some improvements to be made, and am sure they will come.

Graphics are great and screen is easily seen.

FAST AND EASY TO USE

Pros: great interface, fast at calculating routes
Cons: gets hot after a while

I previously used a Garmin 660 and upgraded to this unit and havn't had anything bad to say about it since. It's much faster and calculating paths and finding signal. Also, every function is easy to use and the interface reacts quickly. I've used it for over 1000km and the only problem i've had with it is that it reboot randomly once during travel. Also, it will get pretty hot.

BEST GPS YET

Pros: graphics, interface, pedestrian mode, traffic aler
Cons: battery could last longer

The 3760T is a big step towards the kind of interface we are coming to expect with small electronic devices: great graphics, multi-touch screen navigation, realtime data acess and a very attractive form factor. The automatic vertical screen orientation make using it in pedestrian mode effortless. I have purchased some enhanced city maps (about $10 ea) to give me greater detail when I'm walking around.

I LIKE IT SO FAR

Pros: extra speaker, nice design
Cons: bugs.. bugs

Looks like Ipod touch. Everything is OK except few things:

1. Has few bugs in OS (when u search by name or add place in favorites Enter button is disabled - u need to switch in symbol more to enable it). 2. Right side of my GPS is very hot when it is connected to power.. It is realy hot I am even going to contact garmin if it is not faulty unit... Hopefully Garmin will fix these issues with new updates.
