GOOD GARMIN NUVI 750
A well designed, well priced, and good functioning unit. Chose and bought it mainly to have the Route Planning feature. Out-of-the-box mounts work well on windshield and dashboard, good battery life, easy to read display, good recent updates on local roads I know were just recently changed, nice and helpful map view and panning options. I like the night time darkening mode that kicks in and out with sunrise and sunset.
Pros: lots. Cons: toll routes toggle too deeply buried in menus. Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

EXCELLENT UNIT
My wife loves this Nuvi 750. I even accidentally got a feature that I thought was useless but she really wanted. The feature is where it memorizes where you disconnected the unit from the mount. She always hates looking for her car in large parking lots, now she won't have to! Options and choices within the unit are awesome. The FM transmitter works really well too. She really liked the option for male voice... doesn't like the female voices in other units. Our unit was temporarily out of stock (Mother's day), but shipped within a week and a half. Fast shipping too, worth the ~$3 extra.
Pros: where'd i park Cons: returning to a previous screen isn't always obviou Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

A FINE GPS AT A GOOD PRICE
I have bought this GPS around 1 month ago at GPSCity. They have a great deal on this unit. It have more option than I need but the price fit my wallet. Up to now, I like the very bright screen, the time its acquire satellite and I have upgrade to America NT 2010 for free. What I dont like is the speak street names. Its difficult to understand. A chance I have the possibility to just put on the voice for direction only. For the FM transmitter, its work fair. Perhaps because I have a top mount antenna. Finally, a fine unit at a great price. Its my third GPS I bought from GPS City and all went great. Highly recommended.

GREAT UNIT BUT FM TRANSMITTER NOT WORTH EXTRA
We love how this unit looks and operates but were very disappointed with the FM transmission feature. Unless you can find a station with nothing but static AND drive with the unit within 10 inches of the antennae you will not get adequate reception.
At the price we paid, we are happy with it anyway..

NUVI 750 EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS
Amazing unit that provides everything you need to get to where you want to go. In addition to giving directions, it also tells you how fast you are going, which direction you are traveling, when you will arrive at your destination, how long you have been traveling, etc... When I need to find a restaurant, hotel or gas station in the vicinity, it gives all of the options available and how to get there. Highly recommend!

SLOW, GOT ME LOST
I live in Toronto and have taken this on travel to ottawa, montreal, niagara and buffalo usa. I am looking for a precise and accurate gps which does its job right because I am paying for it to so and serve me accordingly. I failed with this one. I was in Niagara-ON and searched for the closest Wal-Mart Supercentre. It traveled me an hour for smth south of Hamilton but at the destination there were houses only, no wal-mart no nothing. On QEW in Mississauga-ON it missed a couple of turns at 2 exits as the map was outdated and showed right instead of left (Hurontario St and another one). In Montreal it wanted me to turn left on a incoming one-way road (not allowed to turn left in that point) and killed me with weird u-turns in the middle of traffic where indicators were saying 'no u- turns'. I found the frame rate slow and therefore not on time with directions at all times. Perhaps I am too exigent, and would pay more to have a reliable true gps. I bought this based on old reviews. I agree that maps are update-able, but 750 definitely failed on speed, accuracy. Not to mention that it does not display the speed limit in Canada, nor has settings for alerts around POIs - I found this feature v. useful in TomToms and believe that neither nuvi's has this. Two times it lost the TTS (voice) and language settings menu showed "none found". You cannot play mp3s in your car on you audio system from your SD card inserted in your gps. Correct me if I am wrong. Many thanks.

ONE SMALL FEATURE TO ADD
In early April I got a Garmin 260 which I was very pleased with - until the battery stopped charging. I upgraded to the 750 and am very pleased with all the features, especially the on board data base which is almost like having your own yellow pages in your pocket!
The one small feature that I miss from the old 260 it showed the distance and estimated time beside the green GO button on the screen. I don't seem to be able to get that on the upgraded 570. I miss it.

GREAT AUTOMOTIVE GPS
I do a lot of traveling across the United States and found the use of this GPS model to be a reliable method of navigation. Its capabilities has made my movement from Point A to Point B much quicker and safer as it eliminated trying to navigate from a map in heavy urban traffic. Its programmed notification capability to prepare the driver for upcoming direction changes reduces the mental fatique associated with driving in unfamiliar heavy traffic urbanized locations.

GREAT LITTLE GPS
I read several reviews on GPS devices before purchasing - Garmin has the best routing, hands down! THere are some posts stating the device can give directions a bit late (causing you to miss your turn) - I have not experienced this - you get a warning at 150 meters and it always prompts you on time. The mounting system is fantastic as well. Haven't used the FM function yet

GPS GIVES GOOD VALUE
I was looking for a unit that could be used for navigation and for geocaching. Changing to off-road status requires quite a few menu choices each time I look for a geocache. The FM transmitter was too weak to function at all since I have an external radio antenna rather than one built into the windshield. Visibility sometimes difficult in direct sunlight.

WORKS SO WELL, I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE !
I bought the Nuvi 750 so I could leave the Zumo on the bike, which is parked at my brothers house.
I have to say this is a really good gps for use in the car. It picks up signal very well and is accurate so far. It accepts routes plotted out on the PC using Garmin MapSource without any issues. It is easy to see, nice and clear, in any lighting conditions inside the car.
The built in voice is a nice feature to have so you do not have to take your eyes off the road.
I liked this little gps so much, I bought a second one to leave in the car at work.
I figured it would be very handy to have two, and at the low price gpscity.com sells them for, it was a no brainer.

GPS
A continuous problem with this model is map loading speed. The first unit I got took up to 15 minutes to load. Garmin suggested I update the software [It had been done before I received the unit]. The method Garmin requires is quite lengthly. The replacement unit had older software and loads within a minute or considerably less. Forums on the Internet indicate that map loading can be a substantial problem.
One problem I find is if you want a rough route such as from where you are to the center of a city, it is almost impossible other than to fake an address such as "1 Main Street" - which doesn't work if there is no "Main Street"
It would still be nice to show your driving speed AND which way is North on the map screen while you are driving a programmed route.
Check the Internet and you will find a lot of technical information about your particular unit. Such information does not show in any Garmin User Manuals.
One wonders why you can not replace a battery should the built in one fail to hold a charge

Went to Orlando, FL during Easter Weekend having never been there before. Had entered several places to visit prior to going and found each one as if I had lived in Orlando my entire life. IMPROVEMENT OVER NUVI 350
The nuvi 750 replaces my nuvi 350 (which I am keeping to use on my motor scooter). I like the 750's wider screen, and the ability to create routes with multiple way points. Like the 350, the 750 recalculates routes very quickly.
I was disappointed to find that the TTS voices of Jack and Jill mispronounce streets and towns beginning with "Saint" (e.g., St. Mary's Rd.) as "Street." According to Garmin's technical support, they are working on a fix for this problem (which doesn't affect other TTS voices).
I have noticed that when the 750 is turned on, it sometimes takes close to one minute for it to boot up (i.e., finish loading its maps). This can be an annoyance when you want to resume navigating after a making a stop.
The 750's City Navigator NT 2009 database for Canadian POIs is still limited outside of major metropolitan areas. I've ordered MetroGuide Canada (V5) and hope that it will increase the 750's utility in Canada.
Despite the small annoyances I've mentioned, I am quite happy with the 750, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Although I haven't had the opportunity to test the Nuvi 750 extensively, it has so far performed flawlessly. This unit does not have Bluetooth but this is a feature I am able to do without. VERY CAPABLE AND ACCURATE NAVIGATOR
The nuvi locks onto satellites quickly enough, either instantly if it was on recently, or within a few blocks of a fresh start. If I deviate from it's planned route, either because I miss a turn or I disagree with its choice, it immediately recalculates the route. There are lots of options for its voice prompts, too.
There are also lots of options for its map views, north up or track up, 3D or standard, and it can automatically switch between day colors and night colors.
Its distance and speed measurement is quite accurate. It gives lots of warning when a turn is coming up
The picture viewer and MP3 player work well, too. It shows up as a mass storage device on my computer so loading songs and images is easy.
The FM transmitter is way too underpowered to be useful, so don't count on it to be your car's MP3 player.

This unit is definitely a great buy. We recently travelled to Florida from Ontario Canada logging over 6500kms. We toured some of the southern states passing throgh a number of major cities with out any difficulty. The only thing we encountered was the 3 dimensional veiw was not as helpful as the 2 dimensional veiw when entering large city centers with numerous exits, enterances and offramps. GTM20 INSTEAD OF SIRF
Generally good, reasonably fast acquisition of satellites especially from warm start. I saw some complaints on other forums about insufficient screen brightness, but this one seems OK. The lack of some features (satellite screen, altitude) is a bit of a drag, but it's not the end of the world either. Works OK with POI files loaded with POI loader. Has problems with some MP3 files that work well with itunes. As a car unit it works well, (although some of the abbreviation translations seem confused: it says "Varsity Estates Doctor" for "Varsity Esates Dr") - the location closely matches the information on the map. All in all, a good car unit.

GREAT UNIT
The Nuvi 750 has some great features that make it a must have. You can save multiple track logs and preplanned routes in the units memory. Tracklogs are great for when you go off road or where the map data does not exist. The unit leaves a digital breadcrumb trail that you can use to find your way back home or share with friends. You can also use the tracklog for geo-tagging photos with the appropriate software. Preplanned routes are best for those Sunday drives. Instead of following the route the GPS calculates for you, you can make your own instead. Take the roads less traveled or plan your secret short cut. If you live in Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal you can take advantage of the Traffic capabilities in the unit by adding the optional GTM FM traffic receiver or the GDB 50 MSN Direct Receiver. Having the unit take you around traffic will save you time and stress. Don't forget it has a MP3 Player with FM transmitter and it is compatible with various optional Garmin maps. Garmin has just released Metroguide Canada v5. It has a lot of detail that is missing from the built in City Navigator North America NT maps. And for the adventurer you can use Garmin's Topo Canada maps in the unit for extra back country detail. This is a great GPS navigator at a awesome price. Don't miss out. I didn't.
Pros: tracklogs, routes, mp3 Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

NUVI 750
It worked immediately inside my home. As a first time user I found it simple to operate. It is great to see the environment as you pass by displayed on the screen. 'she' provides good company when you are driving alone-and when you disagree where to turn, 'she' immediately recalculates. Hard to get people to do that!
Pros: the friction mount for the dash is perfect. Cons: in a rural area hard to input the address. Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

GREAT GPS
We have found this a great GPS to use in Oahu, Hawaii. It connected to the satellite quickly and certainly helped us find our way around to specific locations. It would be nice if it gave directions a little quicker. We could see how lane assist would certainly help. Canadian Mapping appears to need some upgrading as it does not recognize Alberta Highway 41.
Pros: quick satellite connection, clear voice. Cons: no lane assist Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

VERY GOOD GPS WITH JUST THE RIGHT FEATURES.
I like the unit, it's fast to acquire satellite signals. I like the "where to" feature and "view map" feature. The fact you can look up your exact coordinates and see the emergency facilities near your location is good too. The media player and other features are all nice too.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
We went shopping for a Garmin 265WT but didn't see one at our local Best Buys or Walmart. We ended buying this unit on a Sunday, charged it using a USB cord off my laptop, and my wife used it the following day on a 200 mile trip. The price was very good (the web shows this unit as being discontinued).
My wife liked it very much, giving her confidence on her roadtrip that she didn't have using regular maps or Google Map printouts.
Satellite acquisition was very quick, even in our house. Initial calculating and recalculating of routes is quite quick as well. Haven't tried the auto-sort for multiple destinations yet. POI seems quite comprehensive and works for both local and destinations. I've tried it on POIs that I've visited in other cities and it found each and every one of them.
I might have liked having the free traffic updates available on the 265WT but, this being our first GPS, I'm not missing something I've never had before. Same for Bluetooth. At under $200, the price for this model was too good to pass up for those other features.
I'm not sure if we'll use the FM transmitter for MP3's and Audible books or not, but it's nice to have the option.
My wife's car has a lot of road noise so she had the volume up at 100% and thought that was fine. I could probably use it at the default 80% in my car.
Pros: quick, accurate, and user-friendly. Cons: none noted this early in our ownership. Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

VERY MIXED EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ONE
I live in Oregon, am visiting Sydney, Australia. My experience in Oregon was the 750 was often slow to acquire satellites. Here, it is pathetic. I have had to quit depending on it to guide me it has lost signal mid-drive so often, I use it to show me the route than travel manually. It's bad in central Sydney (buildings) but even in countryside it is undependable for getting or maintaining satellite connection. Do not have external antenna to try. I bought it since it has the feature set I like, but its inability to find satellites here means it's only slightly more useful than paper maps. I would recommend this if you're staying in USA, but NOT if you want to use it while traveling given experience so far.
Pros: safety (speed) camera database, good oz maps Cons: satellite reception Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

EXCELLENT GPS
I did a lot of research before deciding to buy the Nuvi 750 as I wanted a GPS that could store routes, announce street names, has a wide screen and quickly acquires satellites. I was already favouring Garmin since I have a Garmin Map76 GPS for four years and it has been an excellent GPS. The Nuvi 750 had what I wanted and so I checked all the reviews I could find and generally speaking the most common complaint was it's slowness at times to acquire satellites. However, there was quite a few reviews that stated that they had no problem getting the satellites. So, I decided to give Garmin the benefit of the doubt and went ahead and purchased one through GPS City because of the great price and a reference from a friend of mine on how good the service was from GPS City.
The service from GPS City was excellent and the GPS arrived in a very timely manner. Right out of the box and onto the dash of my vehicle it went and I had satellites and was ready to navigate in approximately 2 minutes. Since then it has always found the satellites very quickly and is ready to go before I'm out of my driveway.
I recently went on a 1280 kilometre trip and it worked flawlessly. Some new roads were not on the base map but there will always be some of that.
I am very happy with the Nuvi 750 and would recommend it highly.
Pros: quick satellite acquistion Cons: garmin should include ac charger in box. Recommend: YES Tag: garmin nuvi 750 review, nuvi 750 review

GARMIN NUVI 750
This is a great unit for what we were looking for. It does everything we wanted plus more. The screen color and clarity are much better than my 660 and we really like the posted speed limit feature. Garmin has made some nice upgrades to the 750 over my 660. We also ordered the Bean Bag mount and that works great. I even ordered one for my 660 no more windshield mount's. The bean bags works like they say it does and makes it much easier to hide the unit when not in use.

This system worked well in the metro area immediately, but found that the 2009 version of maps still was missing a number of side streets that are now over a year in existence. error found in all versions for Garmin 2009 maps, but the hardware is easy to use, and is easy to read in the car.

OVER PRICED WITH BAD RETURN POLICY.
GPS City has lost a customer forever on this on. Days after receiving this unit I found it at Sam's Club for over $100 less.
They refused to work with me on the price and charged me a restocking fee. Even so, I made out better at Sam's Club.

GREAT RESULTS WITH THE NUIVI 750
We've had our unit now for a month and have had excellent results. We travel from British Columbia down to Yuma and found no more squabbling about who is right or wrong with the directions to any destination, the Garmin will always get you there. We also bought the Mexico map addition as our trip will continue all the way down to Puerto Vallarta. Will write more under the map review once I see how it functions.

GARMIN NUVI 750
I bought this product 2 months ago and have found it to perform quite well, especially in urban areas. my concern is that I am unable to locate many places in the Maritime provinces by address even if the street is identified on the map. In the past week I drove to Ottawa, Ontario and back and while traveling through New Brunswick on the Trans Canada highway I found that portions of this road were not on the map even though they've been there for a year. While not a big problem for me I found that the voice directions were being given after I had reached the place to turn, etc. As well it directed me to access a major highway from a location that was impossible to do. Overall I am quite pleased with this product and expect it will be of great assistance in an unknown urban area, especially in the US.

I'M RETIRED
I bought my 750 last week, and this is also my first time using a GPS. I was reading Garmin's manual on their web site and has anyone noticed that the 750 comes with a Non-User-Replaceable, rechargeable Lithium-ion battery and it says not to attempt to remove the battery. This means to me that if the battery quites, you throw your unit away and go buy another unit of some name. This has discouraged me to no end and I am thinking of returning it back to Sams where I bought it, and if all other GPS's have those kind of batteries I will just forget about getting any GPS at all, They are just to much money just to throw away ever so often. I can not really rate the unit otherwise because of the lack of much of any other experience so far.

Got my 750 2 weeks ago and got to use it on a trip to New Hampshire last week. I find that it is extremely slow locking on to satellites sometimes as long as 15 minutes. Also the battery only lasts 1 to 2 hours maximum not the 4-5 hours as advertised. In the same location my QUEST locked on in about 1 minute and the 750 took over 10 minutes. Not worth the money.

NICE UNIT!
This is my first GPS that I've owned and I gotta say - I love this thing. I don't know what the fuss is all about it not "locking" onto GPS satellites - I just got it yesterday, opened up the box, took it outside and within seconds it got locked on to a satellite. I have had no problems with it - I still need to update it thru Garmin's WebUpdater, but will do that later. And yes it does have the SiRF chips that some people say the 750 doesn't have. Only downside I see is that this unit doesn't come with an AC adapter, but all in all I love this unit.

HORRIBLE SIGNAL IF YOU LIVE IN CAPITAL CITY!
I love Garmin, I have used 300 and 400 series before I decided to go and buy Nuvi 750. I thought it was pretty cool to get rid of those flip up antenna. I was also interested with the better software features such as "multiple routing(Plan Ahead) and Where am I?" I used this GPS in few countries and few cities by now. I would say Nuvi 750 HAS GOT THE WORST SIGNAL RECEIVER out of all other Garmin models I have tried. Don't get me wrong. When I was in California and Nevada for a few weeks, I thought the signal Nuvi 750 was marvelous. I was able to lock into the satellite fairly quickly within minutes. But the minute I drove to downtown LA, I started to experience signal problem. I also felt the problem was growing when I was driving in Montreal Canada. It took almost 15minutes to lock into the satellite in the car. But The worst was when I took this Nuvi 750 to Jakarta, Indonesia which considered to be a very crowded, polluted, and heavy traffic with high building city. I WAS IN MADNESS. In LA, it took me only a few minutes to lock into the satellite, but in Jakarta especially when I was inside a moving car, I couldn't lock in at all, even after ½ hour of placing Nuvi 750 on the dashboard. Once, I got the signal locked in, I still experienced a lot of "loss satellite reception" problem. I didn't experience this problem with previous Nuvi models with flipped up antenna. The Good News is: The problem could be rectified COMPLETELY by buying GA25 MCX Garmin external antenna. It's such an exceptional antenna for the price. Now, I could even get signal with Nuvi 750 in the building, Jakarta, Indonesia. Honestly, if you live in the city, it's very hard for me to recommend Nuvi 750. Better get 600 series. I'm not sure if 800 series has the same problem. Signal is a very IMPORTANT part of GPS. Without signal, no matter how good the features your GPS have, you won't be able to use it at all.

Quick GPS Fix is not needed on this one. I drove under the tunnel and it did not lost it's satellite signals. The 750 uses SiRF star III chips. You can verify this on the unit diagnose menu, hold battery icon for several seconds and browse within "more" main page. This is a very good GPS indeed!

I believe 'Quick GPS Fix' is an option for newer chips to download current satellite position data via computer (good for seven days) for fast cold start (usually 5 - 10 seconds). If the 750 is using SiRF chip, why is this feature not available?

AWESOME
I've had my 750 for a week, and I love it! It picks up satellite signals in about a minute on a cold start, and has signals buy the time it boots up warm. Very easy to use, and super accurate. Gives lots of warning for turns on your route. FM transmitter works great, but I have an antenna on the front of my truck. The hardest part with that is finding a clear station to use, but thats not the units fault. Making your own routes is a bit difficult, and could have been made easier. I've read lots of reviews on this site, and others before buying this unit, and I think some people expect way too much. I Park undergorund, so getting a signal while I warm up my truck is imposalbe, so I turn it on and leave it by the window while I get my shoes and jacket on, and it's ready to go when I am. When I come out of the garage its got the signal again in less than 10 seconds. I think the trip meter is very handy, and I love the audio book reader, makes sitting in traffic a little nicer. I think this unit is perfect, except for the complicated route making. I would recommend the Garmin 750 to anyone who asks...

IT COULD HAVE BEEN A CONTENDER....
I got the itch to purchase a new GPS after my 5 year old Garmin GPS V started to show its age. Because of the excellent service I received from it, I decided that the Garmin brand was the only manufacturer I’d look at. I had some definite “must haves” with the new unit. I wanted a large display for my tired eyes. I wanted the ability to store “waypoints” or as they are otherwise known from here on, via points. I absolutely had to have the ability to create “Routes”. Routes allow you to connect a number of via points to form an intelligent path from point A to point B. Autorouting is fine if you’re going to an unknown destination, but if you take a frequent path, it’s nice to know how far you from an exit, a favorite rest stop, a busy bridge, a town center. If you place a via point at these locations, you can then connected the dots so to speak, creating a route that when loaded will give you mileage to each point as well as ETA to your destination. Based on my criteria, the Garmin nuvi 700 series units would do “Via Points” and Routes”. After vacillating over whether or not to get the Bluetooth hands-free phone option , I decided the option was way over-priced and went with the nuvi 750. Now I have to admit that I’m a tinkerer. I like to play with things and discover how best to use them. I find out how to use all of the options and settings and use them to make my driving fun as well as efficient. So I was a bit disappointed when I turned on the 750 and started to browse the menu options. I’m going to summarize below what I found in the 2 weeks that I’ve owned it. What it does: -It will Autoroute, sometimes not very well. -It speaks clearly so you don’t have to look at the display for instructions. It will speak them over your radio, provided you have the radio tuned to a vacant frequency. Why I would want to listen to dead air followed by occasional instructions, I don’t know…but it does it. -It will give you a large, bright, display that will display daytime and nighttime map modes This feature is really nice, and it will switch automatically from one to another. How it does it, I don’t know. Maybe it determines sunrise and sunset times, or perhaps it has a photocell somewhere. -It has a great touchscreen that never fails to respond, and you can move the map around by dragging your finger across the screen to pull another section of map into view. Now….what it won’t do: -It will not boot up quickly from a cold start. What I mean is, if you take the unit from its cradle, turn it off and place it in your pocket, when you go to start it several hours later it could take 5 to 10 minutes for it to start providing navigational data. But, if the unit is turned off, and remains in the cradle, when you turn it back on (a warm start) it will immediately fire up. With these things being snatched out of cars, I take mine with me whenever I leave my vehicle. -I will not give you altitude. What were they thinking! It’s being received, so why not display it! -It will only provide location coordinates in Latitude and Longitude. So if you’re a ham radio operator and use the Maidenhead Grid coordinates…..forget it. -Again, for ham radio operators, you cannot output a data stream to send to a TNC for APRS operation. This also means that you cannot hook a laptop to the 750 and use the data stream to drive another mapping program. -There is only a crude compass available and that can only be seen when running in the “Offroad” mode. This mode is use when routing from Via point to Via point. I discovered that Autorouting a “Route” can turn a 35 mile drive into a 130 mile, 2.5 hour trip. DO NOT autoroute a route. Set it to “Offroad”. There are no provisions for a decent compass rose, but merely 8 points. -There are no drift alarms, so if you use it on a boat, you can’t set an anchor drag warning. -The navigational data display cannot be customized. It displays a given set of driving parameters, like moving average, maximum speed, trip mileage, etc. to small boxes, and these cannot be replaced or moved around. -I have not found a provision to create via points or routes on PC mapping program and then download them to the 750. Despite the QWERTY keyboard, it’s a long arduous process dropping via points and then hooking them together to form a Route. I could go on and on with comparing what my 5 year old GPS V can do to what my state of the art nuvi 750 cannot do. Garmin could have had a real winner in the 700 series nuvis. But it is clear to me that they chose to reduce them to an appliance produced for the masses. They “dumbed it down”, made them simple to operate and in the process, eliminated many interesting and useful options and features. So to summarize, I’m exceedingly disappointed in the nuvi 750. It could have been a real winner.

VERY GOOD GPS
Bought this new yesterday and when turn on the first time it acquired satellite signal instantly within 30 seconds and less than that thereafter. I've updated mine with version 2.20 rightaway and downloaded some vehicles icon from garmin website. I've installed also some customized POI from POI factory and the unit seems running flawlessly without any issues. I've owned a 360 before and the new features on this new model are not a big jump for me as far as exploring the menus. And I also still have my mobile 10 XT and the added route is not a big upgrade for me as well. But definitely the 750 is better than my old 360 except it does not have the bluetooth feature. But the 750 has an FM transmitter though. My only complain about this unit, garmin should have included an AC adapter and a protective case in the package. If this accessories was included, I should have given it a "5" rating.

NOT A SIRF GPS UNIT
Got mine used for only 2 days and I returned it because signal acquisition took 5 to 10 minutes. I've checked garmin website after it hits the market and noticed that SiRF on the unit's feature page on their website was already deleted. Meaning this unit and the rest of the 700 series dont have the now standard SiRF chips. Garmin is cheating on this one. That is why there are so many users complaining about how slow this new models pick-up the signals. So those who are planning to buy their new GPS unit, don't buy the 700 series go get the 600 series instead.
