Pros: routing Cons: touch screen, powering off, reliability
I've owned 3 Garmins and this is the worst one, touch screen is terrible, can never calibrate it properly, always off. The unit started shutting itself off on a recent trip to Florida.

KEY FEATURES WORK VERY WELL
Pros: fast, accurate, traffic, clear prompts, aux/fm Cons: touch screen, poi searching, volume adjustment
Satellite and traffic data acquisition are fast enough to not be an issue. Screen is easy to read. Several of the voice choices are inoffensive and comprehensible. Routing and prompts are correct and clear. Custom routes work well for over-riding the defaults. Route re-calculation after deviating is very quick. Searching for POI by name is insanely slow, nearly useless. Touch-screen speed and accuracy are so-so, but entering destination addresses isn't too painful. Volume is adequate in a camry, and AUX and FM output both improve over the internal speaker. Haven't seen lane-assist in Toronto yet, but next-turn icons are sufficient. Window mount is well-designed and convenient. Media player works well, and cuts out for prompts, but adjusting relative volume of media and prompts is fussy. Cutting out for prompts makes music player annoying when prompts are frequent. Light bag/case for carrying is not provided, but easy to improvise.

AWESOME AUTO GPS
Pros: inexpensive, and very user friendly. Cons: simulation of navigation very "slow".
I have been using my Nuvi 755T for about a month now after purchase. All I can say is..."awesome", inexpensive ($190) and very user friendly. It will definitely get you to your destination with no hassles.
This is my second Garmin GPS the first one (Garmin Street Pilot 2620) I bought 6 yrs ago for $1,400. It went kaput after 4 yrs. Technology improves, and the 755T is light years ahead. Very easy to enter addresses, etc. easy to look for points of interests.
The small issue I have is the "simulating" of navigation which is painstakingly slow, especially if you have a long destination with long stretch of highways with out turns. It would be better if one can speed up the simulation plus also able to move forward/reverse so you you can review the turns. Other than this, I love it. Much bettter than, the GPS in our 2010 Lexus RX-350.

GARMIN NUVI 755T - GOOD BUY
Pros: good garmin quality. compact. easy to use.
This is my first GPS, so did quite a bit of research and this seemed to be the best value for the money, also a good price here at GPSCity. I didn't need bluetooth so bought this instead of the 765T as it was $50 or so cheaper. Easy to use. All the functions seem to work well. Sound seems OK to me although others have complained, but bought a cassette adapter just in case! Still over 2 gigs of memory for mp3s after loading the updated map. Also bought GPS City friction mount ($15.95) and the Deluxe leather case.

GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY AUTOMOTIVE GPS
Pros: great image/brightness and features Cons: touch screen "accuracy"
Lost our Nuvi 255W and replaced with the 755T. We like the highway exit advisory image and traffic report features but do find the touch screen quite sensitive to input error compared with the 255W. Even using the eraser end of a pencil instead of a finger frequently results in wrong numbers being entered, a bit frustrating.

GREAT GPS
I'm really happy with this GPS. I've owned 3 hand-held Garmin's but this is the first car one I've used. I find the screeen large enough and easy to see. The window mount is secure and easy to use. The instructions are clear and well-timed. It recalculates quickly when this is needed. Best of all it is very easy to use, all the features are easily accessible and data entry is easy. I haven't experienced the problems I've seen mentioned in other reviews of this product - the speech volume seems fine (the speakers are on the back, so if the unit is not mounted, but rather lying down, it's hard to hear), and the data entry is accurate, the touch buttons are easily large enough for me, maybe I have smaller fingertips than the people who experience inconsistent data entry. All in all, this is the Garmin I look most forward to using out of all the ones I have.

THE KING OF THE ROAD
Cons: the "touch" screen can be in accurate on entries.
Considering that I currently own five different Garmin gps units, you may assume that I really like Garmin. My new Nuvi 755T is a quantum leap above my old C530, and I was really happy with the 530. The Nuvi is intuitive to use, user friendly and very accurate. The lane assist feature is really convenient. Watch where you put your fingers or stylus when "typing" or making "touch" entries....as you sometimes get other that what you touched. Other than that.....a super unit.

GREAT AUTO GPS
Pros: coloring of the maps, detail Cons: voice commands not loud enough
The detail on the maps (coloring) is great. Very descriptive.
The verbal instructions for taking exits, ramps, turns, should start sooner and be more frequent. This would certainly help and give more time for changing lanes when driving on busy, crowded freeways @ certain times of the day.
The voice commands should be louder.

WORKS WELL
Pros: works well in the car excellent on the bike!! Cons: when on batt only does not show batt remaining
Easy start up. Well built. Actually acquires satellites faster than MS streets and trips on the lap top, also is less prone to dropping satellites than MS streets and trips.
The screens are limited compared to MS S-T, but it's not really fair to compare to a full size computer.

GOOD ROAD FEATURES, POOR PEDESTRIAN FEATURES
Pros: accurate. lane assist. traffic info (in usa). Cons: inaccuate touch screen. poor battery performance.
We bought this unit for a California road trip that was over 2000 km (1300 mi) with lots of inter city travel. It proved uncannily accurate, so much so, when we left the car we took it with us for fear it might be snatched. In short, it's great. The lane assist was really helpful and added an increased sense of safety because we maneuver to the correct lanes in advance which negated last minute lane changes. And the free (for 3 months) traffic info provided advanced warning of congestion ahead which allowed us several times to ask for a Detour around it. Very nice.
On the downside the touch screen is not very accurate and using a stylus is almost a necessity for staying sane. On a pedestrian level, the data obtained by pushing the various street-level icons is hit and miss as there's too much data available. You push on a pub (beer stein) icon and it tells you it's some store. Of course this varies with the size of the town. The other negative is that the battery only lasts about an hour and a half and not the advertised four hours.

Pros: nice large screen Cons: no cross street advisory.
I retired my Nuvi 350 for a 755T. One thing I greatly miss in this unit is no notice of upcoming street names. At least I haven't found a way to turn that on. Also greatly reduced battery life. MISSING FEATURES IN TORONTO
Pros: sleek, simple, great refresh rate Cons: no native traffic flow information in toronto
I purchased this to replace an aging Tom Tom Go, and picked it primarily for its traffic features. This unit would be a perfect 5, however the included "free lifetime traffic" does not include traffic flow data in Toronto. It will only show incidents on some freeways and surface roads. This makes it fairly useless for traffic volume or slowdowns not caused by an accident (high volume rush hour, for example). I immediately had to purchase the MSN Direct antenna ($114) making the overall cost of the unit $513 before tax and shipping, and $612 after a lifetime subscription. If Garmin is aware of the limitations in Canadian markets, there should be a choice between the MSN Direct receiver and the FM receiver for all units, or a way to exchange the antenna after purchase.
If you're looking for a unit with bluetooth, as well as MSN Direct, the Garmin Nuvi 785T might be a better choice. With a lifetime subscription to MSN Direct the unit will cost around $580 + tax and shipping.

Pros: large screen, fast recalculations, ease of use Cons: susceptible to 'fat finger' syndrome
Great unit with nice features. Easy to use. Fast route recalculations. Easy to update though cost $$$ after first freebie. Some screen glare though not bad. If you have large fingers need to be quite precise otherwise may encounter incorrect entry. Overall I'm quite happy with the 755T.

EXCELLENT UNIT
Pros: small, sleek and easy to use. Cons: cookie crumb tracks would be usefull for back trac
This is my 3rd Garmin and all have been purchased from GPS City. Excellent response and delivery. This is by far the best so far and the added features of showing in the top left the distance to next turn with an arrow allows for advance lane changes. I find the screen is more responsive and more accurate than my previous model. The lane change arrow as advertised does not seem to work for me in Canada, but will be heading to the USA in the near future and will test it there. Maps are very current. Overall an excellent unit and a must for me as I am a Home Inspector and would be lost without it.

BEST AUTOMOTIVE GPS 2009 / 2010
Pros: satellite hotfix, mp3, touch screen interface Cons: battery life poor but just keep brightness lower
The 755T has it all. I didn't need Bluetooth (765), can add Europe later (775) and MSN free for 3 months (785) then pay $$... No thanks. Anyhow, Traffic works well (Vancouver, B.C.) and you can add over 500 different vehicles, MP3's with FM Transmitter works great. Download new voices, 4GB of memory and unlimited SD Card space can add maps in the future. Beware of new models coming out with reduced features (do your research). Lane assist works excellent (test on a route)! You Get this with the FREE Lifetime Traffic receiver too!!!

GARMIN NUVI 755T - EXCELLENT PRODUCT.
Pros: excellent mapping system. Cons: none
we have a navigation system in our vehicle and it is almost useless particularly in rural Canada. Have used the 755T to travel to remote areas of British Columbia and found the mapping system had all the roads and names of the roads, streets and avenues and the directions were bang on. The pronounciation of some of the roads was good for a laugh as most are Native Canadian names, for example Squilax Road, and Kananaskis. Won't buy another vehicle with a navigation system as the 755T is far superior.

GARMIN KEEPS GETTING BETTER!
Pros: big screen and fast recalculation. Cons: no remote.
The Garmin GPS units just keep getting better every time I purchase a new one. (This is number 4.) The Garmin Nuvi 755T is the latest purchase and I am very satisfied. The bigger screen is great. I have driven over 3,000 miles with the 755T in the past month and it has performed very well. The only problems have been that some newer roads (within the last 18 months) are not in the preloaded maps. I am sure this will be corrected with a map update. Where it is available, the lane assist is great and the lane indication arrows really help, I actually like the arrows better than the pop-up screen shot, because they stay on the screen. I really like being able to load routes ahead of time. The only thing that I miss is a remote. My first Street Pilot had one and I still miss it, but everything else is great.

Pros: lane assist is helpful. Cons: ocasionally misdirects
The 755T has great features and mostly it is dependable, however, once in a while it has lead me to a location that was not part of my search. I live in a rural area and respond for our volunteer fire dept. on medical calls where locations can be hard to find. My 755t has really come in handy. GREAT IMPROVEMENTS!
Pros: small, easy to use, accurate, traffic! Cons: touchscreen is a little sensitive - small buttons
I upgraded to the Nuvi 755T from a Garmin Streetpilot 2620. Screen size and clarity are excellent on this unit, and menus are pretty easy to navigate. The recalculation after making a wrong turn is also much faster than my old unit. Next turn instructions, spoken street name, and 3D maps make it really easy too get around, and hard to make wrong turns. Traffic feature is awesome, with estimated delay time, and the option to avoid the delay. I was skeptical about this feature at first, but after sitting in traffic for an hour, I decided to take the GPS's advice next time and take the detour. (I could hear it saying "I told you so" as we sat parked on the highway.) The ONLY thing I have to get used to is the touchscreen. Sometimes I have problems hitting the right letter (I have big fingers) and going back to delete just adds to the time. My previous unit had a handheld remote where you were able to input destinations easily from the comfort of your seat.

GREAT PRODUCTS AND WEBSITE, SPEEDY DELIVERY
I bought online from gpscity because it's a Canadian company, they had the cheapest price available online, and product for sale well before brick and mortar stores (i.e. Future Shop didn't have this model for sale until about two weeks after I purchased from gpscity, and at about $75 more). I was impressed by the amount of product on the website, but was at first hesitant to buy online. The fact that they have an actual storefront in Calgary, plus the many glowing reviews helped in my decision to buy from them. I ordered on a Thursday, and my GPS unit arrived on Monday, which was super-speedy and very impressive. The unit was an Xmas present, so I can't comment on the actual performance of the system, but I'm sure the recipients will be very pleased with it. Thanks!

I'm a big Garmin fan- although this model wasn't up to par. After fully charging the battery, it lasted only 2 hours. I will test it again- but 2 hours is disappointing, especially on an "up to 5 hour" charge . The traffic ability is extremely poor. It has yet to received reception in zip codes 60118- and rarely picked up traffic driving 20 minutes eastward toward Chicago 60067 zip code. Your map for traffic coverage is not accurate- based on two of the same Nuvi 755T models that I've tried. Also- your Lane assist has never come up. I have yet to see a large traffic sign image- even at large intersections with travel between Chicago & Omaha NB. Where is it supposed to come up? Regarding traffic, you need to either amplify your traffic units or suggest/ provide an amplifier - or change the "stated range" as traffic is not recognized in a fairly large area that it's supposed to. I'm disappointed Garmin didn't live up to it's quality or consistency on this one.
