VERY GOOD GPS UNIT
Pros: bluetooth works great with blackberry curve 8530. Cons: sometimes has trouble acquiring satellite signals
I am very please with this GPS unit. I had a Nuvi 265wt originally mainly for the bluetooth connection to a cell phone. I returned the 265wt unit for the 765T as it has the ability for routes, FM transmitter and MP3 player.
Both units had troubles with the bluetooth connection to my cellphone, a Palm Treo 700w. When the GPS unit was powered down, it would not reconnect on the next power on. I had to remove the battery from the cell phone to re-establish the connection. I changed my phone (never did like that Palm) to a Blackberry Curve 8530. All problems with bluetooth connections have gone. It works flawlessly.
A feature That I do like is when you play MP3 files via the FM transmitter. When you power on the unit it remembers the last song that was being played and it carries on from there. This means you do not have to press the play button when you switch on the unit.
The only issue I have with it is sometimes it has trouble acquiring satellite signals when we go to the lake. Sorry I don't have the Lat/long of the lake. I may have to get an external antenna to help with that.

GREAT GPS...WITH A COUPLE MINOR PROBLEMS
Pros: easy to use, bluetooth, custom voices are great Cons: random shutoffs, weak fm transmitter, screen freez
Great GPS overall, I love it. Upgraded from a Nuvi 350 and the new Traffic feature is great. I have found a couple of problems however: 1) When on the text input screens, the screen freezes for a few seconds. This doesn't happen all the time but frequently enough to be annoying. 2) The FM transmitter is not very strong - you can hear static in the background when the car audio system volume is high. 3) I have found that if you are using the built in Audio/MP3 player and there is traffic ahead and you switch to the Traffic map, the GPS will sometimes shut off. You can turn it back on but it is annoying that it shuts off. If you are in the city, downtime of a couple seconds can cause you to miss turns.

GPS CRASHED AFTER ONLY A FEW HOURS
This GPS has crashed, totally dead after only a few hours of usage. It is always late on his indications, there is a delay in getting the directions, so you miss the proper exit. Garmin Quebec service center has offered a replacement with a refirbished, not a new one. This is against law in Quebec.

GPS EXTREME
Pros: it's a garmin, lane assist, map accuracy... Cons: none.
I have tried some of the other GPS nav systems but this one leaves the others in the dust. I will never use any device unless it is a Garmin. The lane assist is a must have when travelling through the US (doesn't seem to be set up for Canada...yet) and the optional traffic subscription got us through some heavy traffic and avoided some other busy spots while travelling through San Diego.

GARMIN GPS IS STILL THE BEST
Pros: street nameslane assisttraffic alertsblue tooth Cons: more street names should be displayed with map
I am very happy with this unit. I have nothing but praise for it. However, I would suggest that they improve the lane assist warning by displaying it on screen a little earlier.

MARGINAL IMPROVEMENT
Pros: slim design, more custom features Cons: removed options found on earlier units, navteq
Former Streetpilot C330 and Nuvi 660 owner. Garmin Customer Service recommended Nuvi 765T, because Nuvi 660 was stolen. Some nice features added to unit. BUT--Garmin changed the menu around to where some of the features are burried in other screens and took out some other information (ie, satellite maps). It seems that Garmin, while wanting to improve the product, cant just ADD to a good product, they have to CHANGE the format to where legacy owners of their product lose features in the process. Garmin has to make NAVTEQ create more accurate/updated maps (not 2-3 yrs old), and more accurate points of interest (POIs). The naming convention is not uniform for the same POIs.

MET EXPECTATIONS
Pros: the usual good quality gps Cons: weak fm output, longer acquisition time
The unit met my expectations (previous unit a 265WT).
Improvement in receiver sensitivity, handling of tracks are evident. Longer satellite acquisition times as the unit doesn't immediately come up in navigate mode as did the 265 are a step back.
The addition of an FM transmitter helps but the power output is insufficient. Hands free works well.
Maps are almost up to date only the most recent changes (6 mo) are not included in the free update.

NUVI GOES WHERE OTHERS CAN'T...
Pros: with poi loader it's awesome for geocachers. Cons: some glitching on the bluetooth and fm transmitter
Granted my other GPSr is a Colorado and was never designed to be great at Auotrouting so I really love the turn by turn instructions that the Nuvi has. I also found that I would miss important turns and now with the Nuvi's Lane Assist and clearer mapping with earlier prompts I do not miss my turns anymore. In Ontario we now have cell phone laws in place that require you to use a device that is permanently attached to the car in plain sight for making your calls. With the Nuvi's Bluetooth HF I can keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. The FM transmitter is also helpful to play MP#'s or to direct phone audio through the stereo system. A couple of gliches... THe Bluetooth decided periodically to mute your TX audio, no one hears you. I fixed this by unregistering and re-registering the phone. Also, the FM transmitter does not like to be switched on and work immediatly. I have to switch on FM, take the unit out of the holder and turn it off then put it back in the holder to reboot before I get the FM transmitter to work.
All in all I like the unit. THis is my forst Nuvi but my 4th Gasrmin GPSr, I'm a geocacher and we tend to get obcessive about these things.
Oh ya, one last thing, as a geocacher I found it interesting that I could load 10000(maybe more) Ontario not found caches as a POI file so that I can see if there are local caches as I drive in areas I do not normally visit.

NUVI 765T
Pros: acquisition time for satellite is improved. Cons: internal speaker, display.
This unit is replacing a 660 which the internal speaker had died and while I have not tried it out on a long road trip(that is coming), everything appears in order except the screen in daylight does not appear as bright and clear as the former unit. I have tried adjusting the settings but that didn't appear to make any difference. Other than that OK except the free traffic feature is not worth much at least in Toronto, Canada and we will see as I head south. Volume on internal speaker is still nothing to rave about.

NUVI 765T
This was a replacement for my Nuvi 680 which was stolen after only 10 months of ownership. This is an improvement in several areas. The loss of the flip up antenna on the back makes it much simpler to carry around when out of the vehicle. The screen information has been simplified and is easier to read. The black color is much better in the vehicle as it doesn't reflect the sun. I cant vouch for the traffic over the MSN traffic that was included with the 680 as I do not get reception in my area. Overall a much improved unit over one I already loved. You won't be disappointed with this one.

NICE FEATURES, SLOW SEARCHING
I bought this for my wife to replace a Nuvi 350. The FM Traffic is nice, and the ads are not really intrusive. the "lane assist" is nice, but only works on interstate highways. We have a lot of state highways in Maryland that are 4 and 6 lanes with exit ramps, but they do not show up with lane assist. The bad thing is the search is really slow. It takes up to 6 times longer to search for an address or business then our older Nuvi 350 does.
