PERFECT FIT
Cons: can get a bit bulky with multiple components.
This will work with Motorola Atrix car docks as well. I removed the ball from the base and attached it directly to the RAM diamond plate with a slightly longer screw. This reduced the bulk of the entire mount and my phone still sits perfectly where I want it.

ADAPTER MOUNT
Pros: very happy with this product and with the quick se
Cons: the 4 screws were not included.
I attached the adapter to a RAM flex arm mount that fits into the cupholder. Better position than on the windshield.

GREAT MOUNT FOR CUSTOM WORK
Pros: perfect fit, high quality, great price
I was tired of the suction cup mount continually falling off the windshield. I decided to figure out a way to mount the GPS to my dash. This mount allowed me to do just that. Great piece for my Garmin and highly recommended.

FITS DROID DOCKS TOO!
This mount has a 17mm ball, which is the same size that the car dock for the Droid 3 uses. This mount allowed me to use the Panavise mounting plate I already had mounted in my car. Clean and simple design, with brass inserts for the threads. Should hold up well.
Note: This mount does NOT include mounting screws. The 4 holes take M4 (0.7mm pitch) machine screws. Thread depth is about 8mm

BEST MOUNT.
A great product. Well made. Far more convenient GPS position than a windscreen mount in this particular application. Four threaded brass inserts in its base for panel mounting. Two piece construction so not essential to use base - the centre piece could be screwed directly to a panel.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
Pros: comes apart so it is easy to adapt to any car
I needed this piece because I was going to try to mount my GPS in the center console area of my car. It is a VW Jetta, and I have blank buttons where heated seats, etc would be. To mount it in one of these blanks, I needed it to come with that screw through it and everything. I just drilled a hole in the blank button, put the GPS knob in it, and screwed a longer screw through the mount and into a little piece of wood to back it for strength. Easy mod and this piece was crucial.
