This is the exact item I was looking for. I already had the bean bag dash mount for my Garmin 60CS and this fit it perfectly. A new bean bag mount with this peace included would have cost me $30.

Cons: highly priced piece of plastic
For what ever reason, I had a hard time locating this mount. gpscity.com served my needs very well. Even the the Garmin online store didn't sell this item? I shall continue to use gpscity.

A VERY GOOD BUY FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE
Pros: simple and works for the purpose
Cons: no use without the proper base
I had been looking for this product for some time. My purchase arrived in about a week and has turned out a perfect buy for my purpose and money-wise. It nicely fits my old and obsolete beanbag mount base that came with the CFQue I bought around 2003, and now holds my Nuvi 250 firmly and permanently on the dashboard. Before I bought it, I used the mount with suction cup that came with the nuvi that is rather weak and would hold my nuvi in place no longer than an hour and at times my nuvi would fall on my knees or on the floor while driving. Just at about 8 dollars that includes postage to Japan I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks, GPS City, for the quick and pleasant service.

GARMIN MOUNT ADAPTER
Pros: quick and easy, allows for multiple locations
Cons: none, its perfect
Great for quickly switching the unit between the windshield mount on one car, and the dashboard mount on the other.
Also bought a second nuvi clip, to keep on the adapter.

NUVI BALL MOUNT ADAPTER
Pros: saves money if you already have the dash-board bas
Cons: not as tight a fit as original
Ball mount adapter fit great at the rear of the NUVI Clip, however the same cannot be said for the base which locks into the dash-board base. The circle doesn't fit as snug as the previous C-350 style base fit the lock can be defeated and the adapter turned by hand eventhough the 'lock' is on.
