GOOD OPTION FOR TIME SERVERS
Pros: affordable price.
I have used the old NO High Sensitivity model since 2007, which had been worked very well as time reference using NMEA and PPS for my NTP Stratum 1 server. Unfortunately we started having interference problems with wireless 4G LTE, so we decided to upgrade our GPS to the High Sensitivity model with good results: Now this GPS is more immune to this interference.

EXCELLENT HEAVY DUTY GPS
Pros: ruggedness, commandability, 1pps output. Cons: none.
This is an excellent OEM GPS which I used 8 years ago in a design I did under contract. This is the same model with some internal upgrades and performs flawlessly. I interface it to a single board computer which both commands it and processes the data.
The main reason I have used this model both times is that I needed the 1pps for high-accuracy timing. I also like the ability to control the messages it outputs and its ruggedness. The RJ45 connector is a very convenient way to interface to it and it can be purchased with several other types of connections also. I was glad to see it is still available. I highly recommend it.
It was a pleasure dealing with GPS City both times. The item arrived promptly and as described. With their wide selection and excellent customer service I see no reason to buy GPS equipment anywhere else.

BWEST OEM GPS
I have used these for years on AG equipment and they are very tough (fallen into the tractor tire several times), durable, and seem to never have any problems. We have some that have set outside in the hot dusty environments, many times mounted on the engine shroud, and have worked in these conditions for more then two years continuously. Several things to note: Buy the magnetic mount (only a few dollars) and you usually need to be able to cahnge the IEEE end they use to a more common RS-232 9 pin ir similar.
