Pros: great price
No trouble connecting to VHF DSC radio and serial inuput on laptop computer running Capton Software. Mounted on back rail of sailboat.

GOOD OEM GPS
I purchased this GPS at cheap cost. However, I think that position performance is good. I purchased GPS18x LVC at the same time. The specifications of both are written in approximately same, but I can feel this one good. Power supply electric current is low, too. However, as for this, size is big. I cannot attach this by magnetic force, too.

EASY TO INSTALL,ALL ACCESSORIES IN THE BOX
Following a non working on an expansive livorsi anteanna which contain a dead battery, (hard to replace), I decide to buy this antenna from GarminA lot of accessories in the box, for installation, flush, on a mast hidden under the deck, a long 9,00m cable.On the digital Livorsi GPS need to connect the orange wire (accessories)with the black ground to make the system works. The antenna alone weigh less than 200gramms, very reactive, response time very short comparing to the livorsi one,The best boint is a very good price for this product here a GPS city. The shipping to France was fast. GOOd product, good service, I'll recommand it, absolutly. Bruno

GOOD PRICE FOR EXTERNAL ANTENNA

I bought a pair of these to replace the "failed" antennae on my Livorsi Marine GPS speedos. They are a better deal than Livorsi was charging at the time of my purchase. This unit finds sats much faster than others I have had in the past - that could be due to the age of my others. This even locked onto sats while in my garage.

Talked with garmin's great customer service dept. We diagnosed it was the antenna. I have a older 2010c unit and it is a new/improved antenna, with higher sensitivity. Garmin walked me through the installation and sent me the necessary info (wiring diagrams, etc) to make it easy. GPScity had the best price, hands down, and shipped it the same day! I received it two days later! Great experience.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD

this was a replacement for an old model 17 that I had and although the new wiring colours are a little different from the old I was easily able to figure out the connections from the Garmin literature.
All hooked up to my chartplotter and working well.

GREAT GPS ANTENNA
I have a GPS Speedometer in my boat made by Livorsi Marine and there antenna is around $300. This does the same job at 1/3 of the price. GPS City was great to deal with and fast shipping. Thanks for the savings.
