Product Description
The GARMIN GPS 35 TracPak is a complete GPS receiver and embedded antenna designed for a broad spectrum of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) system applications. Based on the proven technology found in other GARMIN 12-channel GPS receivers, the GPS 35 will track up to twelve satellites at a time while providing one-second navigation updates and low power consumption. Its far-reaching capability meets the sensitivity requirements of land navigation as well as the dynamics requirements of high-performance aircraft. The GPS 35 TracPak design utilizes the latest technology and high-level circuit integration to achieve superior performance while minimizing space and power requirements. Utilizing GARMIN's own proprietary chipset, all critical components of the system including the RF/IF receiver hardware and the digital baseband are designed and manufactured by GARMIN to ensure outstanding quality and capability.
The GPS 35 TracPak is housed in a black, water-resistant case and designed to withstand rugged operating conditions. While the GPS 35 TracPak is designed as a ''plug 'n play'' GPS solution, the minimum system must provide a source of power and a clear view of the GPS satellites. The system may communicate with the GPS 35 via two RS-232 compatible bi-directional communication channels. Internal memory backup allows the GPS 35 to retain critical data such as satellite orbital parameters, last position, date, and time.
OEM35 MODELS AND SPECS:
GPS35-LVC: Attached 10 foot power/data cable with bare wire ends. Accepts power from unregulated low voltage power supplies between 3.6 and 6 VDC. Asynchronous serial data interfaces via 2 serial ports with CMOS voltage level outputs, RS-232 polarity.¹ Click here for more.
GPS35-LVS: Attached 10 foot power/data cable with bare wire ends. Accepts power from unregulated low voltage power supplies between 3.6 and 6 VDC. Asynchronous serial data interfaces via 2 serial ports with true RS-232 voltage level outputs.¹. Click here for more.
GPS35-HVS: Attached 10 foot power/data cable with bare wire ends. Accepts power from unregulated high voltage power supplies between 6 and 40 VDC. Asynchronous serial data interfaces via 2 serial ports with true RS-232 voltage level outputs.¹ Click here for more.
GPS35PC: Attached 10 foot power/data cable with female DB-9 serial connection, ready to attach to your PC. Additional 8 foot power cable extension from the DB-9 connector terminates in a cigarette lighter plug for easy application of power supply voltage between 6 and 40 VDC (same as GPS 35HVS). Asynchronous serial data interface via a single serial port with true RS-232 voltage level output.¹ ². Click here for more.
GPS35-USB: With USB Connection. Attached 12 foot power/data cable with USB Converter Connection, ready to attach to your PC. The USB port supplies both power and data to the GPS 35. A CD-ROM is included with USB Device Drivers for Windows 98/ME and 2000 NOT Windows 95, Windows NT or MAC.² ³. Click here for more.
¹ All serial inputs on all versions are compatible with either true RS-232 or TTL/CMOS voltage levels. Port 1 uses NMEA 0183 data format. Port 2 transmits binary position and raw measurement data and receives RTCM SC-104 differential corrections data, message types 1, 2, 3, and 9.
² GPS35PC does not implement Port 2.
³ Minimum System Requirements. IBM-Compatible PC with Pentium-class processor, CD-ROM drive, Mouse or other pointing device, Windows 98/ME or Window 2000 operating System, Available Universal Serial Bus port (USB), Type A (downstream). |
