Several of my flying buddies and I had an awesome flight over Newberry Crater in Central Oregon. Though we were flying in late Spring there was still plenty of snow. The lake with no ice is Paulina Lake. Even though it is at the same elevation as East Lake, it clears of ice faster because it has more warm water springs feeding it from below the surface.

Traveling over inhospitable terrain often requires us to follow roads or hop from one potential landing sight to another. We rely heavily on the accuracy and readability of our GPSs to keep us on course and save fuel. My Ram mount is rock solid and does a terrific job of dampening the vibrations of my Powered Parachute. I like Rams so much that I have a whole collection of them. I use them on my land-sailer, motorcycle, bicycle, car, and truck.

Safe Travels,
Jerry

I was planning a trip to the Calgary stampede and wanted to do some caching on the trip, I also wanted a Garmin Oregon GPS for the trip. GPSCity had one and shipped it very quickly. Now I was set for paperless geocaching. I absolutely love paperless geocaching, here are some pictures of the earthcaches I did on my trip. I had a great couple of days.
