 MapSource Maps in a new Garmin Oregon 550i?

Hi,

I'm about ready to order a Garmin Oregon 550i from you. Ten years ago I bought a Garmin eMap from you and along with it the entire MapSource United States Topo CD (v. 3.00) set. Since then I've bought the Garmin MetroGuide Europe (v6) and MetroGuide Canada (v4).

Can you tell me if I will be able to use these old map sets in my new Oregon 550i? I am hoping that if I order the Oregon 550i with Canadian maps that I would then have both countries covered.

The Oregon 550 will be able to load older map sets as long as they are properly licensed to the unit. Some software is locked which will prevent you from using it with the Oregon 550T.
