TOO BIG IF YOU HAVE A OREGON 450 (OR SAME SIZE)
Pros: two big for oregon 450 (or same size) Cons: very hard and strong
I bought this carrying case, with an Oregon 450, a Zagg screen protector, and a Garmin bike mount. The delivery was quick, I received them in 2 business days.
The carrying case is very big for this GPS. Almost two times as big as the GPS itself. I read in its review that it is big and you can put two AA batteries with GPS inside. However, I didn't find it usefully as the GPS works almost 14h with one series of batteries. I didn't like the carrying case so sent it back without opening the box. Fortunately, GPS City reimbursed me completely in 2weeks. I just paid the shipping cost. The GPS also come with a carabiner, so don't suggest this carrying case at all.
I am completely satisfied with the rest (3 items). As the first test, I did a geocaching at Montreal (where I live) in a -28 Celsius winter day. All the area was covered by (almost) 40cm snow. It was surprising that it was working pretty fine at this temperature and also the display was enough bright under sunshine. I fell couple of times and my GPS got snowy but no problem. She is really tough!

GOOD CASE
Pros: hard shell
This is a hard shell case that fits my oregon 450 theres enough room for your gps and 2 batteries but thats about all. I have young kids so bought this case for this in mind,so I wanted to protect my gps. This a great case to keep your gps in. GPSCITY is a good company to buy a gps or any assories from.

ALMOST PERFECT
I like it very much and works great except the wasted space left in the case. It should form fit into the case, with the extra room you could put another compartment for batteries, or a usb cord.
Overall Im very happy with the case.

GOOD PROTECTION, BUT SO SO DESIGN
Pros: internal locking mechanism to keep it in place Cons: the halves can easily have gaps exposing the unit
I thought this would provide pretty tough protection for my new GPS but I have to say it was not quite what I expected. Although I cannot deny that the drop/bump protection is good, the design is a bit lack luster. Why the two halves are only kept together by pressure instead of a zipper is beyond me. I have already noticed that a gap can easily form on the end and that leaves your unit somewhat exposed to other elements. This is a bad design for an accidental drop in the water. It will not keep dust and dirt out at all.

GOOD CASE
Pros: protects the gps well. hard case, seems durabale Cons: too big, no zipper to close up case
The case dose protect the GPS, however, it does not zip up on the side. Also, it is quite a bit larger then the GPS its self, making it more difficult to carry. It does have a spot to clip the GPS into the case, however, if you have the belt loop clip on, then this has to come off to clip it in.

UTILITARIAN
Pros: protects gps Cons: cheap clips and carabeener
Serves the purpose. Would like to see higher quality clips and carabeener. Weather protection would be an asset since the case is a bit bigger than the Oregon series and the extra space I use for a spare set of AA's and a pen.

MODIFIED CASE - REVIEW
Pros: solid, security when travelling. portable. Cons: bulky for a coat pocket, gps is loose, cheap clip.
I am in the process of modifying this case to fit a GPSMap 62s. From the looks of things it will need to be cut open on the top to the left of the strap to fit the Antenna.
If this works it will be one of the best solutions for the 62s (only a slip case is available at the moment).
As far as this device working for my Oregon, I found my device moved around alot inside until I let it stick to the Velcro and squeezed a small pen in next to it. Therefor killing two birds with one stone, but stopping the movement of my GPS and keeping a pen on hand all the time.
The Case seems strong, the clip was very cheap and lasted only a month for me. If I was buying a case for an Oregon, I would absolutly consider this case

VERY RUGGED CASE
Pros: rugged protection Cons: weak stitching
The case gives great protection, but I was a little disappointed in the strap for the belt clip. The stitching was too weak. But I was still able to make it work for me.

DON'T LET YOUR S**T GET BANGED AROUND!
Pros: easy to use, secure, durable Cons: none
I purchased the case after purchasing a Garmin Approach G5 golf GSP unit. It made sense to have a case to place the G5 unit when not in use. Conveniently clips onto my golf bag until the next round. In my opinion worth even penny.

HARD-SHELL CARRYING CASE
Hmmm this one was tuff. I like the case, and the idea of my GPS bein protected when I travel. But, you can't just have it loosely within the case, it has to be attached to the clip inside in order to be able to close the case. I would have preferred the case to be a little bigger in order to have the option of leaving a carabiner clip attached and be able to close the case.

GARMIN OREGON SERIES CARRYING CASE
Pros: great case with nice hard shell Cons: needs some foam padding inside
I have a 550T and although the case is very rugged and locks very tighly, my unit seems to jiggle around too much inside the case. It needs some foam inside to hold and protect the unit more snuggly while transporting. It seems like this was made to fit everything Garmin makes. For as much money as you will spend on a Oregon 550T, Garmin should make a case designed specifically for this unit to keep it protected with a molded foam center. The extra room would probably fit the Colorado series very snug but not the Oregon. The only reason I would recommend to a friend is because this is the only option and you can add a piece of foam to the top of your unit and make it work. But that is kind of cheesy!

EXCELLENT CASE FOR THE OREGON
Pros: solid protection Cons: a bit tricky to slide gps into the hold clip
A must have for Oregon owners to protect their investment. Strong outer shell to protect if dropped. The GPS fits in rather easily and can be easily carried of a belt loop or hook. It is a bit bulkier than necessary, but the extra space can be used to store spare batteries or notes.

QUITE NICE
Pros: does its job quite well Cons: would like real belt strap instead of velco strap
It is true, there are no zippers or perpendicular strap to totally secure the GPS in its case, but I have done some trekking through heavy branches and it never pop opened. The GPS is indeed quite secure in the case, and its display faces towards you inside the case when attached by the velcro strap or the carabiner. Mind you, this case also fits the Colorado model, and since that model has an antenna, which makes it bigger than the Oregon, you can figure the case is "too big" for the oregon. You can easily fit two extra batteries in the case in the "extra space"

GARMIN COLORADO/OREGON SERIES GPSR CASE
Pros: good gpsr protective shell, velcro belt loop Cons: no zipper that securely closes protective shell
This case was more or less what I expected to receive. The GPSr is secured to the interior of the case with the same type of locking clip as that supplied with the GPSr by Garmin, less the carabiner. The locking clip is attached to the case with a velco (hook and loop) strap. The case is opened by unlocking the FASTEX-type SR buckle. The outer half of the case (and attached GPSr) drops down / opens to a (maximum) 90-degree angle from the vertical, so that the user can consult the GPSr, as required. However, I was surprised to find that the case halves had no encircling zipper with which to securely close the case and protect the GPSr from the elements, dirt, etc.
