QUEST I
I use my Quest I in my car and on my bike. It is very good. Occasionally, it will send me down an unpassable road, but I just found out it has an option to avoid unpaved roads. That works unless a road has been closed or torn up since the maps were made over a year ago. It is very expensive to update the maps. Something like 100.00. I am not happy about that. The Ram Mount I got for my bike is perfect. The car mount that came with it is serviceable, bit not great. I use the Quest hiking. It is great for marking where you left your car so you can find it again in the woods or in a massive lot. I would buy it again. I got a great deal on the Quest I as a factory refurb for under 300 with the software, car mount, charger and connectors.

I purchased a Quest 2 with a RAM mount for motorcycle use. The flip up antenna is problematic and will not stay up when hitting dips or bumps in the road, causing a loss of satellite contact. On a recent long trip (1600 miles) the antenna apparently failed completely and the unit could not maintain connection with enough satellites to support navaigation. I don't recommend this unit for use on a motorcycle, ATV, or firmly sprung auto or truck as the antenna connection doesn't seem durable enough for such use.

A great GPS for motorcycle usage - Have over 12K miles on the unit - has never failed me. Easy to remove from bike and navigate next day's route in the comfort of a hotel room. Small size makes it easy to remove from bike when security of unit requires it. I mount it using the car unit and supplied disk on a RCU shelf on my BMW -can easily move it to my truck when needed there.
