GARMIN STREETPILOT 26XX POWER AND AUDIO CABLE
Pros: easily hear directions within my helmet Cons: connected to gps by audio cable
I was looking for a way to hear "the voice" on my Garmin 2620 while riding my motorcycle. I found this cable on this site and after asking GPS Cities techies if this would solve my problem I urchased it. What I did was,I got a set of headphones that I could dismember and fitted the speakers into my motorcycle helmet. Then I added an adaptor plug, from 3.5 to a 2.5 male audio pin. Now I can hear the gps inside my helmet. This setup requires you to be plugged in,since its not bluetooth, but when touring and riding long distances, the cord is of no consequence. I suppose you could even hook this cable up to an amplified external speaker as well, but I prefer the helmet speakers.

WORKS GREAT
Needed to have a voice in my helmet as sometimes you just can't see the screen of the Garmin 2720 in sunlight etc. so I purchased a mono headset and can plug that into this cable so I now get voice prompts in my helmet.

RIGHT CABLE FOR THE RIGHT JOB
Pros: factory original replacement Cons: none
I bought this cable because my original one developed a short in it somewhere.
I plugged in the new cable and guess what - it worked!
Seeing as how that's what it's supposed to do, I guess I'm very satisfied.

CABLE USED ON MOTORCYCLE.
Cons: 2.5mm audio jack
I installed this cable on my Kawasaki without any problems. Because I have an accessory fuse block, I cut off the included fuse holder which made it easier to route through vents, etc. Plenty of length for my needs. It works! It would be nice if the connector cap had a tether. The 2.5mm audio jack requires an adapter for most cables that are 3.5mm.

GARMIN STREETPILOT 26XX POWER AND AUDIO CABLE
Cons: pricey for what it is
I also purchased this cable for use with the 2820. Works okay, but the 2.5 audio jack on the cable is not the same as the jack on the 2820. Perhaps this is why it is not listed as a 2820 accessory. Wish I had know before ordering.

FITS MORE THAN ADVERTISED
Pros: easy to cut and splice cable.
I bought this cable to hard-wire my Garmin StreetPilot 2820 to my HD Sportster. All I used were the battery connections since I use the "Blue Tooth". Garmin does not list this cable under the 2820 accessories.

GARMIN POWER CABLE
Cons: rather pricey
This was bought as a replacement for the original cable. One of the little metal tabs broke and it was the one that powered the unit.
I wish I could purchase a cable for power only.
