PERFECT REPLACEMENT - AWESOME SERVICE
Original cable started cutting in and out due to wear on the contacts. This replacement is much tighter fit. Unlike other reviews I found mine to be exactly the same length cable as original. The REAL BIG deal here was the service from GPSCITY.ca. My old one broke the Friday before I was going to be out of town and really needed the GPS. I ordered on Friday and it was shipped the same day. Arrived Monday morning and I was good to go. AWESOME SERVICE is all I can say

Pros: longer cord and better connections.
Cons: none noted
Package says it is for a 2730, but fits the 2720 just fine and is a little longer. The fit is also tighter on the back of the 2720 that I own. Price was great and delivery was very prompt

The GPS itself 2720 work fine, but the wire connector on cable is realy cheap, that why I haved to replaced by a new cable I hope it will be much beter than the original one.

VERY GOOD REPLACEMENT
Pros: snug fit
Cons: don't play jump rope with it or it will break.
Replacement for original cable. Works great and has given my 2720 new life. Original cable lasted 4 years, so by the time this one wears out I'll be ready for a new GPS.

Purchased it on Oct 22/09 and have used it a few times . It seems to be working fine , but to early to tell if it will stand the test of time , due to wear and tear .

STP2720 POWER CABLE
Pros: gps city had it in stock.
Cons: expensive
This cable works OK but is fragile and the cable or the priority connector will break very easily if any stress is applied. It is very expensive to replace.

EXACTLY THE SAME
This is exactly the same cable that came with my 2720 originally. The original one got a short in it just below where it attaches to the GPS, because the curve is so sharp. I would imagine in time this one will do the same thing. By that time, I'll be ready for a new GSP anyway.

GOOD REPLACEMENT
Old power/speaker cable conked out - power worked but speaker stopped working... this got it going again....
These cables can lose their ability to stay connected to the 2720 GPS unit...jiggling loose when off-roading...so the replacement helped on that as well, with a "new" tight connection...
