I just pruchased the Garman StreetPilot c5xx and Nuvi non skid assembly.
This gives me the flexibility to place everyhing out of site when not in use, I am a realitor and this device is perfect,

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Pros: all good
Cons: none found
Does what is says and is solid on the dash. Just drove from Montreal to Orlando without any problems. Easy to hide the GPS when required on the floor and avoids Leaving markings on the window. Used on the 1490LMT model without issues.

BEST MOUNT
Pros: easy to use and move when needed.
Cons: none
It stays where you place it , it is easy to just place down out of the sun and remove from car when done. I really like it.

Shoud be sold with the Nuvi series. Far superior to the Suction cups for the windshield which fall off on rough roads

GREAT NUVI MOUNT
Pros: super non-skid bottom
Cons: -none-
Saw a mount at Best Buy, but it didn't stay put on the dash and it lost suction to the disk consistantly. Brought it back and saw this one. Really love it. It stays right where you put it. The ball mount is perfect for the Garmin. The lock switch is very handy to keep from moving the GPS while touching the screen.

Didn't even bother with the window mount. Heard it made marks on the windshield. I am short and have trouble reaching that far in my large SUV. It never moves!

BEST MOUNT FOR ALL GARMIN UNITS
I can't use a windshield mount in my cars, as the unit is too far forward for me to reach. And, Garmin no longer gives you the permanent locking dash mount. They really should provide this as standard equipment (like they used to do), as it is the only type that works well for everyone.

This item is right up there with sliced bread! If I had a dollar for every time a Garmin navigator had fallen from its perch on the windshield I would be able to buy another Garmin with the money. This truely is a great product!

DOES EVERYTHING IT'S SUPPOSED TO
Pros: sturdy construction, works well
A good mount that I can slide in my Nuvi mount or my Oregon mount and transfer them between vehicles. The non slip bottom surface works well and the unit stays in place on top of my dash. I drive in Minnesota a fair bit and the windshield suction mount is illegal there. I don’t miss it as this works so well.

BEST MOUNT
This non-skid mount works as advertised. I've placed it on my dashboard to my left and it stays in place. It's flexible enough to fit in my glove compartment when I want to hide the GPS and mount. This should be standard issue with the Garmin GPS, because the suction cup mount does not work well, particularly in cold weather.

I need the mount because I use many different vehicles and it works perfectly in them all. I also take the GPS inside so it doesn't get stolen.This item should be standard in all GPS purchases.

GREAT MOUNT
Pros: good socket, doesn't slide around
I don't leave my GPS in my car (after one got stolen!) so this is perfect. I can put the GPS on my dash when I am using it, then take it inside when I am home. The base doesn't slide around - I took it on a trip this past weekend that involved some twisty mountain highways with no issues.
All in all, for GPS units that have the right socket to use it I would say this is a good mount.

EASY MOUNT
Pros: easy to me or remove, hide when not in use.
This item was easy to use ,and moving it from car to car is a snap. When not in use it is very easy to store in your glove box, that way no one will try to break into your car looking for your GPS if they see a empty window mount.

DOES THE JOB AS ADVERTISED
Pros: works as advertised.
Cons: should be able to by the mount only.
I bought this to take with us when we go to the UK this Fall. I really just needed the actual ball mount as I already have the bean bag portion that I use with my eTrex Vista. It is too bad you don't sell the mount alone for those of us who have the bean bag already. Mounts change with the GPS unit, the base portion doesn't.

Pros: practical: lightweight, but stays wherever placed
Cons: doesn't fold flat
Works just great! Don't need any other kind of device to hold the Garmin as this functions almost anywhere in the vehicle.

This is an excellent mount for the Garmin GPS. It allows you the place the GPS where it it not intrusive and where it does not block the driver's view as he/she drives. In some area the window mount with suction cup are illegal as they interfeer with drivers view. Its no trouble whe moving the GPS from one vehicle to the next.

FANTASTIC MOUNT
Purchased for my husband for his birthday. He is a long haul trucker and is totally satisfied with this mount. Many of the states in the USA do not permit window mounts, so this is absolutely perfect. He can even take it out and us it in our van. Multi purpose.

I recently took a trip to California where you are not allowed to attached your gps to your windshield so i found this mount to be excellent. It stayed where I put it and did not move even on sharp corners.

NON SKID MOUNT
This is a great item, makes it easy to move your GPS if you have more then one auto in your garage. It's easy to put out of sight when parked and it stays where you put it. I much prefer this to the telltail windshield sticky mount that comes with the GPS.

GARMIN NUVI DASH NON-SKID "BEANBAG"
I live in a state where it's illegal to sucker-mount the GPS to the windshield. However, it's legal to have this assembly on my dash.
This is a wonderful product and works exactly as intended, holding the GPS unit exactly where I want it, even on twisty mountain roads. An ingenious solution and a definite "must have."
