| Garmin StreetPilot III and GPSMAP 295 Auto Bracket Description |
The Garmin plastic cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,
- Garmin StreetPilot III
- Garmin StreetPilot III Deluxe
- Garmin GPSMAP 295
This 'C' shaped bracket is included with the purchase of the Garmin StreetPilot III and StreetPilot III Deluxe.
THE CRADLE CONNECITON:
This cradle wraps around the back of your StreetPilot III unit and clips into groves in the unit. For an extra secure hold, a locking pin in the cradle can be screwed into the back of the StreetPilot III.
On the bottom of the cradle is a standard Garmin Cog which connects to the Garmin Auto Dash Mount Base and the Garmin Non-Skid Friction Mount Base (not included).
On the back of the cradle is the inductry Standard AMPS hole p[attern which will connect to either the RAM Diamond Plate (RAM-B-238) or the RAM 2.5'' diameter Plate (RAM-B-202).

along with a few user tips that you may find of help for this particular item. | MOUNTING: The permanent disk will attach your mount, and attach it well. Don't expect to remove the mount is a hurry. If this isn't your style, try the temporary disk. Stick the mount where you need it and then remove it when you're done.
ACCESSORIES: You can purchase a second base holder for this mount. The Dash Mount (pictured right) is perfect for the second vehicle, the boat or even the bike (if you can find a flat surface).
This is the Non-Skid Friction mount with a dash mount base attached. Simply connect the cradle/upper part of your Auto Mount to this 'bean filled base', and its weight will hold your mount and unit right were you left it. Click here for more information.
