WORKS GOOD
Pros: easy operation and very accurate
Cons: need more backroads and quad trails
Worked good for all the spots I've been to so far

great maps to have when backcountry crusing in my xrt4x4 side by side cons some of the roads on the chip do not exist where ever they get their info from is not correct 90% of the back roads i travel on i know like the back of my hand

TOPOGRAPHIC MAPPING
Pros: nice graphics, fairly easy to operate
Cons: roads not marked
We purchased this particular mapping system because we quad in our local area. After having been out on the machine we noticed that ROADS that have been in existence for over 50 years, to access a once thriving and now much smaller community and surrounding areas are not marked on the mapping system,?? We were very disappointed that we cannot seem to see any well known ROADS or other roads...is this normal, or are we doing something wrong? What is the solution? If this is true for all the areas on this mappping system, then what is the point of having it when we visit other backroad areas in our backyard playground. Please advise.

TOPOGRAPHICAL ENCRUSTATION
Bought it for the topographic maps but DID NOT APPRECIATE all the miscellaneous crap that came with it--the ATM locations, gas station locations, etc. etc.
Create two versions, so buyers can choose between 1. straight topo 2. topo plus gas stations, shopping malls, women's shoe stores and other roadside attractions.

Cons: lack of trans canada trail
My goal for buying this topo map was to be able to see the Trans Canada trail. Unfortunately it is not shown. It also does not show the Lockside or Gallopping Goose trails on Vancouver Island. Good for showing topo elevations. Net result is I am disappointed that it does not show trails I was looking forward to seeing.

POOR INCLUSION OF HIKING TRAILS - MOST MISSING
Cons: disappointing
Disappointing absence of major landmarks (airports, wharves, etc) and absence of many current hiking trails. Absence of many hiking trails in the Regional Parks and Provincial Parks.

Pros: detailed
Cons: not transferable to pc
This is a very good and detailed topo maps. The only thing that is bad is that you can't load it onto your PC so you can have a larger screen other then the GPS unit.
