along with a few user tips that you may find of help for this particular item. |
• Trip and waypoint management functions**
• Ideal for recreational activities such as hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, cycling, canoeing and snowmobiling.
• Digital maps accurately display hills, valleys, lakes, rivers, streams, rapids, portage locations and trails
• Includes major, secondary and side roads
• CD-ROM is not locked - full access to coverage of Canada
• Vector-based cartography - which provides an object-oriented view of the data. Simply point to a feature on the map and the attributes appear, such as elevation, points of interest, trail names, etc.
• Search for cities, lakes or rivers
• Routable trails
• Amenities including: camping and picnic areas, scenic overlooks, some ranger stations, boat ramps and marinas
• Summits, peaks and other geographic points
• Vector-based maps - consumes less memory
**These functions of this product work with nearly all Garmin GPS units, excluding the GPS 100 family and panel mount aviation units.
