GARMIN TRIP & WAYPOINT MANAGER
Delivery very fast, Calgary to Gatineau in 27 hours. This product was required to save my 300+ waypoints on my computer in order to do a software upgrade on my Garmin GPSmap76S purchased in 2004. The software is user-friendly. Have a quick look at the MapSource User’s manual before using it. You will understand what happens with the data in your GPS… Two minor points with the software: you are not ‘challenged’ when you delete something and you cannot create an ‘automatic’ backup file. Overall, very satisfied.

OLD VERSION SENT
Pros: with the proper version, works perfectly
GPSCity sold and sent me an old version therefore I had to struggle and download from Garmin the new version of Trip and Waypoint Manager before I could get it to read my TOPO software. Never had that kind of service from GPS City in the past!

GARMIN TRIP AND WAYPOINT CD
Pros: it did the job!~ Cons: haven't found any yet!
I have a lot of waypoints in my "old" Garmin C330 which I wanted on my "New" Garmin Nuvi 265. This program did the job - like taking your old phone numbers off your old cell phone and putting them on your new cell phone. You can make marker changes and putin your own routes and a few other things that I haven/'t tried yet but the main thing is it did the transfer thing very well and it was not complicated at all!

GARMIN TRIP AND WAYPOINT MANAGER
Cons: also not mac compatible
This Cd will only work with WIN 2000 or newer. It will NOT work with WIN98SE, the operating system on my navigational computer. To change OS I would need to buy a new marine charting system! Anyone know of an OLD waypoint manager CD? Am trying to upgrade from Garmin 75 to Garmin 76CSX

DID JUST WHAT I NEEDED IT TO.
Pros: simple interface, very effective. Cons: none
After a failing old Quest GPS unit was replaced by a nuvi 550, I needed an application to transfer nearly 200 waypoints stored on my PC. Mapsource was used to save waypoints, but could not transfer them to the nuvi, which uses a different file system. So I purchased the Trip & Waypoint Manager and it did the trick. Worked perfectly. Within a few seconds all waypoints were on the nuvi and ready to go. Please note this DOES NOT replace the functionality of Mapsource.

SOFTWARE INCLUDED?
I was rather disappointed this software was not included with my GPS from Garmin when I bought it. After a long search to even find a place to buy it, it did perform the intended tasks which were reviewing my waypoints, tracks, trips and then allowing me to back them up.
