Manufacturer Description |
Update your existing North America City Navigator DVD or GPS Software to Version 2008 with this DVD. This update DVD is NOT for NT products! (See below for the compatible Garmin units and Mapping Software) The NT units require the Update North America City Navigator NT DVD 2008.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Garmin software is not returnable.
Understanding the Garmin City Navigator Update Process:
This DVD is free to purchase, but requires an unlock code to access the updated mapping data. If you have purchased your compatible Garmin product (see list below) after May 1, 2007, the map data may be out of date. You can receive a free map update by first registering your Garmin GPS unit at www.mygarmin.com.
The registration process will identify if you are eligible for a free update. The Garmin website will support this feature beginning August 22, 2007.

Compatible Garmin GPS and Software:
This update is for NON-NT versions of City Navigator Software. The NT units require the Update North America City Navigator NT DVD 2008. You must already own a Garmin compatible product to make use of an update. The update data will not load without an existing installation of your older version of the Garmin software or GPS.
