Update and Go
This map update is available on DVD for Kenwood devices. Our City Navigator North America NT 2010 map update¹ provides the most current detailed map data. With premium quality map data provided by NAVTEQ and an extensive points of interest database, you'll navigate in confidence.
¹Before updating to the new maps, you must first update your receiver software and then update your navigation software. See the Requirements below for instructions on updating your software.
- Includes fully routable detailed maps for the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
- Provides nearly 6 million updated points of interest, including gas stations, parking garages, restaurants, hotels and more.
- Provides full postal code support for Canada.
This DVD is for use in Kenwood devices. Internet access is required.
Installation Instructions
To install your map update, follow these instructions in numerical order:
- Update your receiver software at http://www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/mm/firmware.
- Update your navigation software at http://www.garmin.com/kenwood.
- In your vehicle, insert the City Navigator North America NT 2010 Update DVD into the Kenwood GPS device and follow the on-screen prompts.
- In your vehicle, record the unit ID and validation code in the spaces provided below your product key on the package.
- On your computer, go to http://www.garmin.com/kenwood.
- Select Activate Map Updates.
- On your computer, enter the unit ID, validation code and product key.
- A 25-character unlock code will display on your computer. Write that code in the spaces below the product key on the package.
- In your vehicle, enter the unlock code and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
