EXCELLENT BATTERY
Got this Garmin Replacement battery for my Zumo 550 - excellent product. Battery life was down to about 25 minutes on the old battery, and now, back up to 3.5 - 4 hours.

GPS BATTERY GREMLINS
My zumo550 started locking up, would not turn back on without the garmin soft boot up(remove battery). I read about the problem here, ordered one and problem fixed. My battery was 5 years old. Quick shipping, u have my business!

GARMIN ZUMO 550 BATTERY
The old battery was causing the Zumo to behave erratically. Removal and replacement of the old battery was required several times. New battery solved the problem.
The new battery showed 4.0 volts after a full overnight charge even though it is listed as a 4.2 volt battery. The old battery was 4.0 volts as well.

GREAT ITEM
When my Zumo450 stopped turning on, I read to attempt to replace the battery. Unfortunately that didn't help and my poor 450 was retired. But this is no fault of the battery! I checked the battery and it held a charge great, charged fine, etc. Not it's fault my 450 was done for!

NEW BATTERY INSTALLED
Was experiencing problems with the Zumo 550 failing to boot up. On a hunch, I replaced the 4 year old battery with this new one, performed the firmware and software upgrade and installed a new map download. The unit is now booting up and has been working great.

Pros: real all weather gps system.
Cons: screen is alittle dark when on the bike .
Found the unit to be great, espeacially on the bike in the rain which i ride alot in. batteries lasted me three yrs without a hitch. Most of the problems that i'm reading about i've not experianced with my Zumo 550.

ZUMO HAS A NEW LIFE!!!
Pros: works like a charm.
Cons: none
My Zumo 550 failed to run longer than 30 minutes on battery power after shutting down the bike. Got this new battery and the unit works like new again. Original battery was 3+ yrs. old, so this new battery has renewed my zumo. Thanks, GPSCity.

ZUMO 450 & 550 BATTERIES
The batteries shipped with the Zumo 450 and 550 were very susceptable to causing glitches. If you are having to reboot or remove the battery entirely to get your Zumo working again, a new battery will probably solve the problem. It did for me. Shame on Garmin for selling their GPS with crappy batteries!

ZUMO 550 BATTERY
Battery works great. Zumo 550 not so great, sent back to garmin. Problem is if allowed to turn off on timer the unit drains the battery. Will not recharge or power up when on bike cradle.

ZUMO 550 BATTERY
Pros: the 550 works great on the bike in all weather
Cons: intermittent shut offs
My Zumo is only 2 yrs old and the battery went completely dead. Not happy with that. It sometimes shuts off, maybe it was the bad battery.
