Bikers have special navigation needs that only Garmin provides with the ultimate motorcycle GPS series, the Garmin zumo. Waterproof and sunlight readable, you can put these awesome devices on your handlebars and ride in any weather.
The units have bluetooth (BT) for receiving voice navigation instructions via BT helmet headsets. The higher end zumo units will even let you answer your phone via bluetooth using your BT bike audio. They also play your favorite MP3 music files and can wirelessly transmit the music via bluetooth to your helmet headset.
Not everyone wants to follow the path most traveled. The Garmin motorcycle GPS units allow you to choose the route you want using a built in Trip Planner, or you can also import your routes from Garmin Basecamp and other compatible programs.
No need to get a second GPS unit for your car because the zumo can easily change modes to suit the vehicle you are driving. Units in the zumo series can also estimate your fuel tank level and warn you when it is time to top up the tank. Once you get your zumo you will be the envy of all your friends. |
