BATTERY BACKPAC
Pros: extends the filming time during cold weather.
Cons: none
Great addition for the GoPro Camera. During cold weather filming the standard battery provides only minutes of operation before it dies, this Backpac extends the filming time considerably. You can also change the battery in the backpac without losing all the data in the camera.

EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE
Pros: does a great job of extending recording time.
If you spend a lot of time outdoors and you want to turn the camera on and forget about it, than the Battery Backpac is an excellent accessory. I use it for quading and I get lots of footage and can edit once I get home. Great idea!

ADDED RECORDING TIME
Pros: was cheap enough for the added recording time
I didn't have much chance to test this Backpac battery till the past week. I used it on my BMW k1200LT motorcycle looking for more than the 2.5 hrs of recording time that the Hero GoPro HD offered. My first uses only got the same 2.5hrs! I did a firmware update today & I also charged the camera & the Backpac separately & I got the 4 hrs recording time I was hoping to get. Not sure of either as a problem!

GREAT VALUE
Pros: great value adds functionality
Cons: wish it had come on the market sooner
Great price when you figure you get a second charger as well as a second battery for one price. Now you can charge two batteries at once which is great. Extends the run time by pretty much double. Makes the camera slightly larger but not noticeable when you are wearing it. See tons of my GoPro footage at www.apormc.com

Great addition to extend my riding time. Use on motorbike and now can ride for several hours without having to stop.
