| GPS Buddy GPSB Navitrack Description |
You won't need any additional software or plug-ins to use the NAVITRACK system — the GPS-Buddy software is already built into your Garmin navigator. Simply activate the included 1-year service plan and the navigator does the rest — as long as the Garmin is turned on, it will accumulate important historical data for the vehicle, including speeds, distances, routes traveled, start and stop positions, and other important data. Each nüvi can store details for up to 10,000 points traveled.
To access the information, just connect the nüvi to your computer using a USB cable and retrieve the data through your personalized NAVITRACK account. The uploaded data can be stored for future reference and you can build customized reports using GPS-Buddys advanced web-based applications. Using these reports, business owners can track unnecessary or wasteful travel routes and focus on improving service and efficiency.
NAVITRACK is also a useful tool for parents of new drivers who want to ensure their children are driving safely to approved destinations. NAVITRACK also works with Garmins zumo® motorcycle navigators.
The GPS-Buddy NAVITRACK vehicle tracking system provides an innovative solution for business owners with delivery vehicles who want to keep costs down and increase productivity. The NAVITRACK system works with your Garmin 700-, 800-, or 5000-series nüvi® portable GPS navigator to provide a wealth of important information about your vehicles movements, allowing you to create reports that can improve efficiency.
Note: The NAVITRACK system does not provide real-time vehicle tracking. It accumulates historical travel data from your Garmin navigator (sold separately). The 1-year service plan provides unlimited access to travel data during the duration of the plan — account renewal required at the end of each service plan to receive further updates.

Switched on, your Garmin Nüvi* continuously records and stores the location, speed and direction of its host vehicle, for up to as many as 10,000 location points worth of information. Once connected to a PC, the stored vehicle tracking data can be uploaded to the GPS-Buddy servers, and your Garmin Nüvi is turned into a vehicle tracking device.
