Manufacturer Description |
This cable allows you to make a powerful connection between your GPS and your PC. Create routes and waypoints on your PC and transfer them to your GPS. You can also download map detail from MapSource CD-ROMs to compatible Garmin GPS units.
The cable begins at the DB9 serial plug and splits into two cables approximately 9'' from the plug. One cable continues for approximately 4' to the standard round 4 pin Garmin plug and the other is approximately 5' long and terminates at a cigarette lighter plug (with removable fuse protection).
The PC interface DB9 plug connects to a Windows computer for uploading and downloading of waypoint, route and mapping data to your compatible Garmin GPS unit.
PLEASE NOTE:
This cable is not compatible with the Garmin GPS 12 and WILL NOT connect to the GPS 12XL, GPS 12CX and GPS 12MAP when they are mounted in the Garmin Swivel Mount (010-10048-00). The cable will work with all other mounts, including RAM Mounts. |
