 Garmin Antenna Remote Cable | | | | | |
Manufacturer Description |
This cable allows you to remove the flip-up antenna from your GPS unit and remotely mount it to the windshield of your vehicle with a suction cup bracket or a screw mount.
This antenna cable consists of a 6 foot cable terminating in one male and one female BNC connector and a small suction cup bracket which is connected to one end for windshield mounting.
To use this cable, simply remove the flip-up antenna from the back of your GPS unit, reconnect it to the BNC end on the cable and connect the other end of the cable to your GPS unit. Now the antenna is ready to be mounted in a prime location, without moving the GPS unit. By moving the antenna off of the GPS unit and up to the windshield, the antenna will have a better view of the sky and will provide better satellite tracking ability. This is a lower-priced, lower-performance alternative to the low profile remote antennas.
