This is how we make our GPS units talk to one another. Say your buddy has some great fishing spots saved as waypoints and you want to transfer them to your GPS. This cable bridges the gap so you can transfer data such as waypoints, routes, and tracks between GPS units.
Use this cable to transfer data between Garmin units. Often called the 'cloning' cable, it will permit you to transfer all those waypoints and routes that you have collected over the last little while into another Garmin unit, so you do not have to manually re-enter them.
