Manufacturer Description |
This data cable will help to provide an interface between your Garmin e-Series unit and your PDA or Pocket PC. The cable has the Garmin e-Series connector on one end and a male serial DB-9 connector on the other.
To complete the connection between the Garmin e Series GPS unit and the PDA/Pocket PC, a second cable is required. Most PDA/Pocket PC's come with a standard PC interface cradle/cable which connects it directly to a PC/laptop DB-9 serial port. The cable end is a DB-9 female serial connector.
Now all you need to do is connect the male and female DB-9 connectors, and you have a PDA/Pocket Pc interface cable to any of the Garmin e Series GPS units.

GPS CITY NOTE: You can connect this cable to a e Series PC Interface cable and transfer data direct between two compatible Garmin GPS units.
This Cable has a 'tab' on the unit connection end to give a stronger hold to the eTrex Series. The 'tab' must be removed for an eMap connection.
