WORKS FOR THE MOST PART....
Pros: stays on dash at regular speeds
Cons: flies off dash with sudden acceleration...
For the most part the Nav-Mat does work. But I've noticed if you are at a light or need to accelerate quickly onto a highway, the mat comes flying right off your dash. This is a safety hazard not to mention can break your GPS. Back to the drawing board....

I have found that have an hour or so the Suction Cup from my GPS no longer holds. This happenned without notice when I first got it, and when I made a quick turn around the corner the GPS went flying to the floorboards of my car. There is a safety issue here that I think needs to be looked at.
Even when sticking the GPS Scution Cup on the window, one needs to be careful as for whatever reason due to the heat from the sun whatever?, it will fall after a certain lenght of time. Robet, Cabdriver Victoria B.C.
[Ed. note: This would be a problem with the actual suction cup of the mount you're using, however, this wouldn't be a problem with a different base - the non-skid base. The base acts the same as your windshield would with the smooth surface. If your suction cup will fall of your windshield because it isn't holding as strong, it can fall off of this as well.]

MUST HAVE ACCESSORY !!!!
Hold my GPS on my dash even in tight turns and high speed! Very nice!

I was a bit skeptical at first but after using it on my curved and sloped dashboard I couldn't believe how well it worked!! I am buying a couple more for friends.

GET ONE - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
Works very well. I have just completed 2 1400 km trips and the mount never moved. My dash is not level and the mount was very secure during all of my manoeuvres. It is a real pleasure not having to deal with mounts coming off the windshield.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
This is an excellent product. I mounted a big GPS unit to this base and it won't slide even if you do a high speed turn. Everyone should get this product so you don't have car thieves breaking into your car because they see the windshield mount.
