Manufacturer Description |
This data cable will help to provide an interface between your Garmin unit and your PDA or Pocket PC. The cable has the Garmin round 4 pin connector on one end and a male serial DB-9 connector on the other.
To complete the connection between the Garmin GPS unit and the PDA/Pocket PC, a second cable is required. Most PDA/Pocket PC's come with a standard PC interface cradle/cable which connects it directly to a PC/laptop DB-9 serial port. The cable end is a DB-9 female serial connector.
Now all you need to do is connect the male and female DB-9 connectors, and you have a PDA/Pocket Pc interface cable to any of the Garmin GPS units.
PLEASE NOTE:
This cable is not compatible with the Garmin GPS 12 and WILL NOT connect to the GPS 12XL, GPS 12CX and GPS 12MAP when they are mounted in the Garmin Swivel Mount (010-10048-00). The cable will work with all other mounts, including RAM Mounts. |
