Manufacturer Description |
New from GPS City is this heavy duty dashboard friction mount for suction cups or adhesive disks. Now with more confidence than ever before you can mount your GPS on your dash using its included suction cup or adhesive mount. Made from a very sticky silicon material on the bottom, it has a secure and tight hold on almost any surface you can put it on. When an iPhone with a g-force meter was installed on the dash mount, we saw a peak of 0.9 lateral g-force and it was not budging. Even when put on a pane of vertical glass, it will maintain it's position for a few seconds. You can really see the strength of the hold from the two videos displayed below.
Many GPS units ship with a suction cup mount included. Now you can use that mount straight out of the box and mount it on your vehicle's dash with this non skid friction mount. This is the perfect solution for drivers in California and Minnesota where windshield-mounting your GPS is prohibited!
It sits securely on your dash, console, or any other surface. It can be removed easily for use in another vehicle. This mount base works for Garmin, TomTom, Mio, Magellan, and all GPS devices utilizing a windshield mount.
This base is not limited to just GPS mounts. No matter what electronic device suction mount you have, you can easily mount it on your dash without purchasing a new mount. It will even work with any suction mount made by RAM Mounts.
