A GOOD TOPOGRAPHIC MAPPING
Suite à mon nouvel achat du GPSmap 60CSx, j'ai obtenu un special $$.$$ de cette carte Topographic Canada DVD 2009. Je dois dire qu'elle n'est pas complètement à jour. Depuis 2007 l'autoroute 85 dans le bas St-Laurent est prolongée. De la même année, un super marché près de chez moi n'existe plus. Il y a même des rues dans la région de Laval qui furent construite depuis plus de trois ans et n'appaissent pas! D'autre part, ayant eu un autre GPS qui a rendu l'âme lors d'un accident, j'avais dans la même compagnie Garmin, la carte CITY NAVIGATOR North America (États-Unis & Canada). Un peu plus cher mais tu paie pour une meilleure qualité de naviguation! Cette dernière me dirigeait parfaitement sur les voies à sens unique. Contrairement à ce dernier achat, elle me dirige dans des voies où elles me sont interdites. Elle n'a pas le sens de l'orientation en ce qui concerne le sens unique! Bref, une lacune regrettable. Surtout à Montréal! Certes, pour le prix investi. Je peux l'intrégrer dans un autre GPS. Contrairement au CITY NAVIGATOR North America qui est exclusif a un seul GPS.
Pour ce prix offert à 50% moins cher que le North America, je vous le recommande!

RAM MOUNT FOR ETREX COLOUR
I ordered this so that I could stop fiddling with the GPS while driving (and comply with Ontario's new hands-free law). This mount is what I needed. VERY sturdy. Very flexible: holds the GPS at almost any angle. I wish it stuck to surfaces other than the window, but I think I knew that going in.
GPScity shipping was very fast. I would order from them again.

NOT WORTH IT
Even after Garmin lowered the price and most people paid the higher price the unit isn't worth it. They didn't fix anything the motorcycle rider needs to have to navagate down the road. There is still no map scale while navagating, most of the time you can't even see what road is comming up ahead. A motorcycle rider needs to have both hands on the handelbars, not fooling around trying to see what road is coming up and not trying to find a page on the map that has a sale on it to see how far a landmark is down the road. Bring back the Quest or model the Zumo after the Quest. I'm stuck with a useless map I paid a butt load of money for, I can't afford to get rid of it, please put the features on the GPS that we can use.

VERY FUNCTIONAL MOUNT
I bought this mount for my ATV. Installation was smooth and without issue. When secure it does not move but is removed easily when downloading/uploading maps and tracks. Initially I was concerned with the housing, however, care must be exercised when removing the GPS as the two plastic lips/clasp at the bottom appear to be the weak point but I have not had any issue. Just take the time and remove gently.

Originally ordered the medium length arm but found it to be too long, putting GPS in front of other guages on my FLTR Road Glide. Short arm works great, puts GPS in perfect location for sight and manipulation.

opt for the metal extension for heavy duty use as the composite one may break. Excellent item does the job holding gps in place on both motorcycle and boat. Water can get rough but this unit will hold everything in place.

SUPER GRIP FRICTION MOUNT
I received this mount just before taking a long trip. The gps I had fit well and the mount never moved off the dash the entire time. I have a Tom-Tom and it "just" fits in the pocket, otherwise I am extremely satisfied with the mount.

GREAT PRODUCT! GREAT SERVICE!
I had a hard time finding the exact upgrade for my Kenwood/Garmin unit in my truck. The Kenwood site referred me to Garmin, and the Garmin site was confusing/vague. Knew about GPScity from prior upgrades, equipment, etc. The site told me exactly the right upgrade and whether it would work with my unit. The site even told me that the chip came with an adaptor for either size my unit may have(mine is behind the dash). GPScity had way more info about this product than Garmin, and even had the latest version, which was not even listed on the Garmin site. Hell, it was even 10 bucks cheaper than the compatable (outdated) version that Garmin had.I ordered the chip in the morning and had it at my business the next day before I even got to work. The only downside was that the guys that installed the unit had to tear off my dash to find the GPS (head) unit to install the chip, and then tried to fool with the screens software to get it to run...I told them that Garmins stuff is basically plug n play and it turned out I was right. Just stick the thing in there and you're good to go. Great product, (so far) and great service/company (GPS city).
Pros: cheap(er), reliable, easy to use
Cons: possibly difficult to install on certain units.

LIL BUDDY CRADLE PLATE MOUNT
Mount bolted up to my existing Ram Mount Cradle (from previous vehicle set-up). Adhesive would not hold on my dash, but did hold securely to the trim strip near my radio. Holds very well. Easily holds weight of cradle and phone (BB Storm and now Tour). I have had no concerns that it and my phone will end up on the floor.
Pros: secure grip, looks proffesional.

strong sturdy back... will hold some weight... just a good canvas, big zipper solid back... holds about the size of a big kleenex box. I use it to carry my wallet, 7" gps, the sand bag and dashs for the gps, keys and other things and still have room. Perfect.

BETTER THAN ORIGINAL - SO FAR
This cable plugs straight in to the GPS unlike the original. It is easier to plug and remove and may prove more durable than the original. At first I thought the plug was too small -- But found you must ensure it is plugged in as far as it will go. Plugging and unplugging the original as I switched from my car to my motorcycle is what caused my original cable to fail. This appears to be a better design but only time will tell. GPS city delivery was very fast. I Highly recommend GPS city.

GREAT FOR ULTRALIGHT AVIATORS
I've only had this unit for a month, but have used it plenty. So far, so good! It's very handy to have so many options in such a neat little gadget...and light enough to wear like a watch! As a powered parachute pilot, it is a perfect addition to my other instruments! And, in cold weather flying, the wrist-strap extension allows me to strap this little unit right over the top of heavy clothing.

ONE BIG PROBLEM
The mapping has a significant problem. It doesn't discriminate between narrow trails with impassible roads and four lane motorways. We literally found ourselves being directed to ford a river in our rented Toyota. The maps are fairly complete, however.

2010 UPDATE
Cons: 1. Didn't know that we needed high speed internet 2. It took 4.5 hours to download it 3. Even though our Garmin model was on your list we had to delete part of the information because there was more info than what it would hold. 4. Our city alone had 25 or so businesses that have been out of business 5-10 years. Deleting that info would have allowed us to put all of the current info on our Garmin 5. We think it would be less frustrating to just buy a new Garmin and that is what we would recommend to anyone who asks.

the perfect mount for my motorcycle. a couple of friends had recomended it, and I agree with them. The only problem that I had was, in order to attach my garmin nuvi 255 I had to snip off a small cross-bar on the gps holder in order to attach my power cord, but hey, it is still perfect. thanks, Bob

WORKS GREAT!!
Using the adapter to power my GPSMAP76CSx on my snowmobile. No problems yet. Sure saves on batteries and it keeps the back-light on at all times making the screen easier to see. Your product descriptions don't mention that the power end of the cord is fused....this could be helpful to some people.

FORETREX 101
I own 10 other GPS units and bought this one because it is the smallest, lightest and simplest of them all. Just the basics if that is all you need. I use it mostly for a speedometer on my Zero Electric Motorcycle, and also to log a Waypoint at the trailhead, turn it off to save batteries, and turn it back on if I need it to navigate back.
Pros: small, light, cheap

GOOD GPS-FRUSTRATING SUPPORT
Everything was going well when I began using my GPS, however I still cannot unlock my maps off my PC after downloading the app. I may be doing something wrong, however I may never know given the lack of support to answer questions! The GPS itself is great on the bike, installation very straight forward.
